Spoken like one who has never experienced a single day of adversity in her life. It's hard for someone like that to get their mind around what life is like for those of us outside of their narrow world view. Growing up in a wealthy family, I was similarly incapable of understanding the plight of the poor and disadvantaged until, that is, I found myself among their ranks. The one cure is to experience it first hand.
Ingraham's Wikipedia page, she was raised "middle class," yet she went to Dartmouth and then UVa's Law School. That's not middle class where I come from!
Bottom line, she's so out of touch with average American's that she really believes any change in the marginal tax rate is the same as Nazi persecution.

We need higher taxes period no ifs no ands no buts. The wars and Collapse should have demanded taxes back to at least 1980 levels. But these people these nuts have fallen full into the idea that taxes are not need to run a country. They are defending the very people the rich that are the reason prices are so high, the reason there jobs are being sent over seas, the reason they have far less power then they should when it come to the marketplace.

Here's the fun facts. The Nazis got their groundwork and inspiration for both agendas from.......wait for it........early 20th Century USA. Before they declared war against the US they sang the praises of our burgeoning advertising industry and it's effectiveness in convincing people to purchase items they could not afford, weren't good for them and were totally unnecessary.
In the 20s America was the world leader in promoting eugenics. The Rockefeller Foundation, Carnegie Institute and Harriman railroad fortune (early 20th Century analogs of our current for-profit health insurance robber barons) put the might of their wealth into solving the problem of ridding society of "undesirables."
And who was deemed "undesirable?" Well honey if you ain't white, wealthy, and healthy you ain't desirable. Pretty much summed it up then and now.
That's right boys and girls, many of the same families and certainly those with the same agenda back then are bringing you our current shit storm of totalitarianism and intolerance.
That's part of what's so freakin' ironic about the likes of Savage, O'Reilly, Hannity and Ingraham. With only a few adjustments for time and place, these promoters of the "American Way" would have been saying the same things as the spokespeople for the German Nazi Party.
