CNN is reporting that Palin's "book" already tops NY Times bestseller list. And who's the asshole who claimed that reading expands the mind?

That's why she went to six different colleges. As soon as they gave her a reading list she transferred! But she's got street smarts....err tundra smarts.

PS. I find it a bit disturbing that the GOP still wields so much power even after having lost the last election(s). It's like they are a case of political herpes - you can tamp them down but sometimes when you really need to get something done they flare up and wreck the evening for you.

You know why the book is coming out faster than was scheduled. She has only finished half of it and decided to quit, just as she does everything else.
What's noteworthy here is the commercial potential of Palin's aura. Yes, her conservative followers flock to her political rallies and fundraisers. Sure, the national media can't get enough of her. "Saturday Night Live" (GE 16.25, -0.17, -1.04%) thrived last year when Tina Fey did an uncanny job of lampooning Palin's eccentricities.

MarketWatch obviously believes whats good for Sarah Palin is good for the shareholders.
A person who bought a $105,000 home, then chose to refinance five times over the past seven years, borrowing more than $500,000 and spending every single penny just to end up unemployed is pretty much "out of the game".
So much for the praises of the heroic American consumer.

THAT's when I'll buy it... when I find it at the Dollar Store.
