Rachel Maddow on the latest Republican party infighting. Seems we've got Rush Limbaugh going after John McCain's mother, Roberta McCain for her daring to criticize him on Jay Leno's show. And as noted on the front page here Charlie Crist is already getting attacked from the wingnuts over at Red State.

i dont think those are the same photos. it says that the station got them back in 2006 and that they only think it is some of the ones Obama has. from what i have read lately, these new photos are absolutely revolting and will change the debate about this.

I thought they had appeared too. I saw a similar report with four photos. but then I saw they were obtained in 2006, so I assumed they had been published. A few people linked to that story here at C&L.
What I don't understand is why the newspaper would have sat on the photos for so long. Worst of the worst?

Rush should have left this one alone. He can piss and moan if he wants but when you go after elderly ladies you are going way too far. This is one of those times when if he couldn't say something nice, he should have said nothing at all.

Rush proves his insecure narcissism by not allowing the comments of even an elderly lady to slide. So ironic that Rush is incapable of being a 'big person'.

But Rush is right. The conservatards need to run candidates that are even more fascist than Bush/Cheney - if that's possible. Then, when they get trounced even worse, Rush will say its because they were not conservative enough, and they can continue to run bigger fascists every election.

I work in a stroke center and we get lots of crabby old people.
I got called a son of a bitch three times (at least once each day) by my 91-year-old patient recently. I really don't take it to heart and after a while it's actually kind of funny. My husband teaches mentally challenged kids and one of his kids called him an asshole the other day and before that called him a rat bastard (loved that one). We don't get our undies in a wad about being criticized by people who might otherwise be polite and pleasant. Fatty needs to grow the hell up or maybe remove his cochlear implants.
I predicted that it would only be a matter of time before Rush would go after Mom and Apple Pie. Well....he just took care of Mom. Apple Pie is all that's left, maybe he's eating one or two or three as I speak!!
