CNN's Anderson Cooper talked to The Late Show's David Letterman about the experience of he and his crew getting pummeled by a crowd of pro-Mubarak protesters in Egypt. Cooper also discussed the United States' role in propping up Mubarak's dictatorship for the last 30 years or so, the US sending people there to be tortured, the new numbers of protesters that are showing up on the streets in Egypt and the role of the media in covering this story.

It would be nice to see Anderson Cooper do some real follow up on his show about our government outsourcing torture to states like Egypt since he bothered to mention it here, but I'm not going to hold my breath that he or anyone else in our corporate media is going to hold our them accountable any time soon.
