Fox News Producer Caught Rallying the Crowds During the 9/12 Protests
h/t Media Matters
And the Huffington Post has confirmed that the woman in the video is Fox News producer Heidi Noonan:
"The employee is a young, relatively inexperienced associate producer who realizes she made a mistake and has been disciplined," Bryan Boughton, Fox News Channel Washington Bureau Chief told the Huffington Post.
Here's the segment as it aired on Fox News.
So where is the rest of the media on this story? Maybe Rick Sanchez will bother to cover it for CNN. I'm sure we'll see this on Monday when Keith and Rachel get back on the air.

Priceless.
Fox is going down. The White House is spurning them, advertisers are bailing, (some) network journalists are actually questioning conservatives, and BO of all people is spouting leftist propaganda. Even he can see the writing on the wall.
Fox stages a fake news event and covers it as news. They accuse the other 'News Networks' of NOT covering the event.
CNN via Rick Sanchez defended their 'Honor' by replying 'they did cover it'.
But he FAILED to observe that it was a fake event.
The Corporate Media is STATE MEDIA.
I observed the fake fake umbrage of Rick Sanchez on the equally fake CNN 'news network' here.
In talking about these 'News Networks' one must constantly use quotes, they are all fake.

............couldn't hold a flame next to FauxSnooze. Goebels would be so proud of his protege's handiwork. Fascism has taken over what used to be a decent enough country to live in. Predation does not make 'friends' or 'democracies'. Pity poor ravaged, looted, sacked, pillaged, PEOPLE of Iraq, for it will soon make it's debut on USofBLOODYISRAEL soil, and definately soil the souls left behind to endure the FASCIST rants of the Racist Fringe. he did point out covering an event and promoting one were very different things. Of course he did NOT directly say the FOX promoted the event, but he repeated the covering/promoting diff about 3 times.
me-oww!
If by now a person does not know that Rush , Beck , O'Reilly , and other fox ?news? organizations are promoting these corporate paid attacks on Obama and the democrats they have been sleeping...
What is worst are the democrats which are supporting republicans and their policies and we just keep voting them into office..
Republicans can not lose. They have the extreme right wing republican party and than they have the republican democratic party with their blue dogs and centrists to vote when ever they need them...
How can they lose??? They have republicans running on both the republican and democratic ticket..
None
Hopefully by exposing the Fox News network over and over as the biased and yellow journalists they are, we will finally either get them to at least BEGIN to be neutral, or at least HONEST. While I find some of the talking heads at MSNBC to be as vitriolic in their coverage, overall they will try to balance the entire situation. They will also ADMIT when they are biased in one way or the other. They speak up front and try out facts and figures.
I am sorry that their journalist had to be tagged as "inexperienced". I feel sorry for her that the team of people covering that rally with her did not back her up, but simply threw her under the bus. That is totally wrong.
It's not in their financial interest. And there is apparently no legal requirement to prevent the broadcasting of lies disguised as "news".

And no, I'm not some conservatroll.
If anyone cares to take the time to research the actual court case, and not rely on the misrepresentations in the media, you'll find that the court did not rule that Fox could lie, because the question of whether a lie was aired was not at the heart of the case, but rather whether two pretty lousy journalists felt they were being censored, or just used a claim of censorship as a weapon against their employer.
Seriously, use the google, and you'll find the facts are much different than the reporting would indicate.
Again, I'M NOT DEFENDING FOX, but advocating for accuracy.
That "bu bump!" you heard was Noonen being thrown under the bus.
...surely FOX keeps a pen full of "relatively inexperienced young associate producers" around for just this purpose.
Well even though most of us on this site were well aware that faux noiz is THE propaganda outlet for the GOP, and the corporations that fund them...this might just expose their fascist tendencies to a wider audience.
The saddest thing is, you can expose each and every one of these lying sacks of shit for what they are,and the audience this is directed to won't care, this is catnip to them. They'll cheer and wave their their flags while the corporatists rob them blind and leave them for dead, and these people will go to their graves believing everything that FOX told them.
I just saw this clip on msnbc and was coming here to tell about it. Bingo, you guys beat me to it. I'm not a bit surprised.
As my dad would have said, fox has been caught with its pants down.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.
"young old, black white"
I don't see any black people in the video.
brown shirts.
They count the white people wearing Obama masks as being black...
Propagandist
faux noiz should be declared an enemy of the state.
They are, after all fomenting rebellion with this kind of bullshit.
And enema of cable "news."
Here here on declaring them the enemy.
Men are basically smart or dumb and lazy or ambitious. The dumb and ambitious ones are dangerous and I get rid of them. The dumb and lazy ones I give mundane duties. The smart ambitious ones I put on my staff. The smart and lazy ones I make my commanders.
Fox news producers and all staff are schooled in creating propaganda from their first day of hire, so it is no wonder that occasionally they make it extremely clear that they are spinning and modifying reality to suit their political ends.
How long until someone comes out of there telling the story of what goes on during that schooling?
I think we might be the "rest of the media" . . .
Better info online than on the TV machine.

You're an ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, and you don't know the basic principle of NOT being a part of the story you're reporting?
Oh, wait, that would only be if you worked for an actual NEWS outlet where there's still some pretense of professional ethics.

They attract those that play dirty.
Even the Oakland Raiders aren't as bad as Faux Spews.
I can actually watch the raiders without going insane.

Good point!
even realize that this is not the way newscasts are supposed to be done? My guess is that they will continue to stand behind "their" broadcaster no matter what.
are even self-aware?
Left to their own devices they'd probably be playing with their feces . . .

'Talk to the hand'
A month or so ago, I was listening to a local conservative talk show host on KMOX radio here in St. Louis. He was interviewing Bernie Goldberg and discussing the "liberal, left wing media bias."
So I sent an email to Mark Reardon, that talk show host, and asked him, "what about Fox News and their conservative bias?"
Mark replied and said, "Of course Fox is conservative....at least they are honest about it."
I had to laugh and replied back, "That's my point. They are NOT honest about it. Their slogan is 'Fair and Balanced.'"
If you have to keep saying that you're "honest" over and over again, you probably are not honest!
Faux noise is an advocacy group....the FEC should force them to register as a PAC.
'Talk to the hand'
Why would they discipline her for doing her job? Sure, blame being caught whipping up the propaganda on the new employee.
Men are basically smart or dumb and lazy or ambitious. The dumb and ambitious ones are dangerous and I get rid of them. The dumb and lazy ones I give mundane duties. The smart ambitious ones I put on my staff. The smart and lazy ones I make my commanders.
Just wonder what her punishment was. Did she have to have dinner with O'Reilly or spend an hour cleaning up after Beck?
that she is required to maintain a crowd noise level above 80dbl....her next contractual move would have been to lift her blouse.

I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing long enough to reply to this one!
2,000,000 tea baggers, saying that all the other news outlets did not cover this 10,000 tea bagger march and now the news team at Fox cheerleading the audience to make it look like there was much enthusiasm. How do they have any credibility? The people who get their opinion and news from Fox are being punked, used, and manipulated. And they like it.
Oh wait a minute... Cokie Roberts is on NPR Morning Edition. I have to listen.... NOT!
nepotism roots, eh?

Not in the least.
What's that spell?"
Young, inexperienced associate cheerleader/producer attempting to get teabaggers to cheer at rally.
"She realizes it was close enough for a teabagger march and will not be disciplined, " said FOX news burrow cheef, Bright N. Burnin.

This reminds me of the incident from the documentary OutFoxed where the former fox reporter describes how he was sent to the Reagan library on Reagan's birthday. He was told to report it as a major event, even though most of the few people there that day were not even aware it was his birthday.
Reagan was unaware what day was his birthday.

The people who would condemn Fox for this already have done so long ago and the loyal Fox viewers just don't see a problem with this.
In there minds, this is what all news media should do. They condemn the rest of the media for having an alleged liberal bias precisely because they don't engage in this kind of cheerleading for the rightwing Reppublican agenda -- at least no so blatantly and ineptly.

I want to know who she was on the phone with. I don't buy this "relatively inexperienced" thing to begin with, but if it's true I'm betting whoever she was on the phone with was telling her what to do. I don't think anyone doesn't see she was just thrown under the bus and her "punishment" will be paid back soon enough.
I also want to know what Fox's definition of "relatively" is. Is she just out of school and this is her first job, as they're implying? If that were the case, it would just be "inexperienced," not relatively. And if that is the case, how does someone just out of school get such a a plum assignment despite having no experience? Or does it mean she worked a couple of local markets but this is her first time at the Big Network doing a Big Important Story like this?
(I tried googling her resume/bio but didn't find anything except a whole bunch of malware sites, so I gave up)
I betcha five bucks cashey money!
whose couch was she "disciplined" on?
If it were a spanking they could sell it on video.
Diabolus est Deus Inversus
If it were a spanking they
couldwill sell it on videoI would be surprised if FOX "didn't" take full advantage of this "grassroots" circus of rightwing extremism. FOX is now being justifiably portrayed as the rightwing extremist propaganda outlet for gun-totin loons who hate our president. The White House, CNN, and even the president, himself has identified FOX as such.
LimpBalls
You have it backwards. Fox is a propaganda outlet for the corporations.
The gun-totin loons are the suckers.
'The White House, CNN, and even the president' are also bought and paid for by the corporations, just on different channels.

If she worked for ACORN would faux accept that excuse?
Diabolus est Deus Inversus
So...is Heidi Noonan Peggy Noonan's daughter? Do tell.
Exactly my first thought after fully reading the post.
Man, cronyism is alive and well .... Actually nothing is well with Faux Noise.
Noonan married Richard W. Rahn, who was then chief economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in 1985. They lived in Great Falls, Virginia. Their son was born in 1987.
Niece, maybe?
Who knows. Maybe same last name, like James Garner and Jennifer Garner (no relation)
me-oww!
I'm sure this is somehow ACORN's fault.
The whole thing is just so completely manufacturered. These people believe anything FOX will tell them.
"Astro FOX turfing"
This reminds me of a John Stewart piece with one of his reporters supposively out in the field with the fake background.
This is not news. This is FOX and a bunch of industry sponsored groups having a rally. It is like an employee rally at Wal-Mart. Hardly newsworthy.
These idiots represent such a small portion of the U.S. population.
The only news story here is why is FOX organizing and doing these protests and why are these teabag idiots gettings so much media attention?
Man...Dan Aykroyd playing his biggest dweeb ever could never out-dweeb the sheer dweebery of that dweeb with the dweeby glasses.

I'm sure she's a fine example of television production professionalism wrapped up in a nice soft, sleek, supple body.

Poor thing. Now if she dyed her hair blonde she could become a relatively inexperienced anchor.
She probably got a promotion.

Why are all the faux noise, uneducated lunatics, so damn ugly??
Just sixty thousand of the ignorant sheep and braindead Faux Noise watchers went, the rest stayed home waiting for their welfare checks to come in the mail.
or going to the doctor to use their medicare.
How do they feel about a so-called "news" network that is nothing more than a propaganda and promotional toll for extremists...as this clip so clearly proves?
Why shouldn't the FCC revoke their license? Why should PUBLICLY-OWNED airwaves be leased to a propaganda machine? That's downright un-American...straight out of Germany in the 1930's.
