Jon Stewart took a shot at the House Republicans for what their logic might have been when deciding to use a scene from The Town to inspire their members to vote for John Boehner's debt ceiling bill.

They shoud've gone with; "This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that? "

Since when is it appropriate to use the words logic in conjunction with the words reslug/teabircher.

Or ethical for that matter

How many trillions have these guys invested in derivatives on the USA's failure? McConnel will filibuster?! That almost makes you a traitor, Mitch! Are you such a racial bigot or globalist lackey to do this? You don't look like you have the guts. You must feel totally assured that you will be seen as a patriot or it won't matter with the destruction of the USA as we know it.

Man, Lawrence O'Donnell is goin' off on Joe and his "deadbeat-dad defending lawyer".

Humpty Dumpty was pushed.

Context means nothing, it's all whatever sounds cool. They may as well have been spouting off quotes from "Scarface". "First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the woman."

Ronald Reagan using Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A."

Springsteen said Reagan totally misunderstood the song's message, but it didn't matter. It sounded jingoistic, so that was good enough. Sorta like using "Barracuda" or "I Won't Back Down"--and not requesting permission.
