Keith reports on Fox's Glenn Beck problem with their advertisers for spreading racial hatred on his network and his remarks calling the President a racist who hates white people.

One of those guys who'll do anything for ratings; a different flavor of morning shock jock...no self-control and no conscience. Unfortunately Fox News featured him.
I'm all for the advertisers jumping ship. What's pathetic though, is that these companies would not have budged unless somebody puts pressure on them.
and I have decided that Glenn Beck doesn't DESERVE the time it would take to compose a humorous or pithy commentary on his activities... or the financial DRAIN he had become for FOX. All I can say is,,, this could not be happening to a more deserving TV personality. You GO, KO... heap the truth on that guy.

I have said it in the past probably too often but C+L is looked at by MSNBC and probably the other cable networks too. Also I would bet a whole lot of money that the White House looks at this site (I mean they pay people to read the internets and keep an eye on them) and they read the comments and see what we are saying because we have good ideas and a lot, a real lot of what we say is insightful to them. We think of things that they maybe have not thought about or we validate things that they are thinking about. We are not just talking among ourselves here.
To bad Olbermann didn't give credit where credit is due. I wonder why he didn't.

I wrote my questions down and emailed them to my self. Then I went over them again and checked them to make sure my grammar was correct. So when the thread opened up, all I had to do was copy and paste the question. The rest was just follow up.
We don't often get to ask people like Speaker Pelosi any real up front questions. So I took full advantage of the situation.

I'm in almost the same situation you are. I was bankrupted and crippled by a botched surgery, I'm now on S.S. disability and at 51 and a vet I have no healthcare because medicare takes 2 years to qualify for. I agree with yo we need single payer but I think we'll end up getting screwed again.
It's better than nothing.
Granted, I only go for check ups. I haven't had the need for anything more. Yet.

The finniest thing about the daily shows clip of Beck crying about his care during his poor health is that, if you really listen to him, what pisses him off is that he went into that particular hospital thinking (as a TV star!!) he'd be treated like a celebrity in a hotel and instead got treated like anyone else. You can see it in his face, he thought he deserved special treatment.
gets to the crux of the matter. When he says the U.S. has the best health care in the world, what he means is it's the best for the elites and since he considers himself among the elite he expects that level of health care.
Beck's like so many on the right that will protect privileges for the elites on the assumption that they will one day ascend to that level. Most never will and instead be condemned to the substandard care for the masses that they refused to improve.
Massive, bloated whiners is what they become when confronted with reality. And, of course, they never want to take responsibility for their efforts to preserve the current inequitable system under which they too must now suffer. So much for the personal accountability that they are so quick to espouse.

But keep in mind, when Beck was calling America's health care system "a nightmare," that was before Rupert told him to say it was the best in the world. Remember, Glenn Beck's job is to say whatever Rupert tells him to say, and to act like he really, really believes it.
Really, he believes it. He can even weep about how much he believes it. And mention how worried he is about America. And there really are people that take him seriously. They are angry cattle, and he is their rodeo clown.

Glenn Beck is such a total nut case. How on earth can anyone listen to him and not reach that conclusion. He's a freak side show. I would guess he has certain viewers who take him seriously and others just watch for amusement.
