Olbermann: O'Reilly 'just another Fox News bigot'
Bill O'Reilly's controversial appearance on The View Thursday gave MSNBC's Keith Olbermann just the excuse he needed to let loose on the conservative pundit.
O'Reilly may have become Thursday's most talked about story after his comments caused two hosts of ABC's popular daytime show to walk off the set.
The Associated Press detailed the walk off:
Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walked off the stage of "The View" during an argument with Bill O'Reilly over the proposed Islamic center near the site of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The women objected to the Fox News Channel host saying that "Muslims killed us on 9/11."
Olbermann, who has a longstanding feud with O'Reilly, couldn't let the opportunity pass without using his "Worst Person in the World" segment to call out the Fox News host.
"Lost in that, of course, is that fact that Bill O. without the benefit of a script revealed himself to be just another Fox News bigot and Islamophobe," explained Olbermann.
"It's like asking who used to be the cleverist juvenile delinquent in a school. Now he's just parroting Gretchen Carlson and Glenn Beck over there," said Olbermann. "It's sad."
Behar used her platform on Headline News later that evening to elaborate on the controversy.
On her Headline News show Thursday night, Behar continued her O'Reilly rant, stating that he had a "pinhead moment."
She said she was "really angry ... I thought he was saying something that I construe as hate speech, frankly."
To say Muslims were responsible for 9/11, "to lump an entire group like that," is wrong, she said.
Behar told PopEater, "He's an idiot!"

But it was Muslims, under the direction of Osama bin Laden, and specifically under orders based on Muslim Belief, that attacked us on 9/11.

Considering the fact that there are over a billion Muslims in countries across the globe, including America, the significant thing that all the 9/11 hijackers have in common is not their religion, but it may be their countries of origin... But that is still a reach!
It looks like every religion has it's violent radicals though, and that might be what you are noticing, and i agree. Without religious fanaticism, all we would have left to war over would be economics, and that is far easier to resolve than religious conflicts.

Yes, "muslims killed us on 9/11" spoken accurately would've sounded like "the men who commandeered the planes on 9/11 were in fact muslims" which does not brand the entire religion as "terrorists". O'Reilly is an exceptional bigot, however he is now insignificant to FOX problems, thanks to recent developments.

Every time that buffoon Mr. O'Reilly opened his yap, bile, bigotry and hatred spews out. But it was great seeing him getting reamed by Whoopi and Joy, and then rightfully raked over the coals by Mr Olbermann.
If Billo is going to argue that "muslims attacked as (as if over 1 billion people hijacked those planes), he ought to be honest (ha!) and say that Saudi Ariabians attacked us after all, all but one of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, Its the same generic standard. But he won't. Why? Saudi Arabia invests in Fox and Mr Murdoch "pals around" with his Saudi financiers. So, one could say, that Billo works for an organization, financed by the people who attacked us. Why nobody challenges him on his own logic is beyond me. But who cares. Reporters (on both sides) here don't care about reporting, they also just care about selling products on their channel. At least the BBC reporters in the UK (and also John Stewart on occasion) asks a follow up question..........
