A couple of aspiring reality-TV stars from Northern Virginia appear to have crashed the White House’s state dinner Tuesday night, penetrating layers of security with no invitation to mingle with the likes of Vice President Biden and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
Tareq and Michaele Salahi — polo-playing socialites known for a bitter family feud over a Fauquier County winery and their possible roles in the forthcoming “The Real Housewives of Washington” — were seen arriving at the White House and later posted on Facebook photos of themselves with VIPs at the elite gathering.

President Obama is either harmed or becomes paranoid for his own security. It seems that they have allowed more security lapses on this president than any allowed on past presidents. Which is unusual because of the numerous threats against Obama.

This is incredibly serious business, and they better do something about it (such as firing those people and arresting the couple.)

The basic point is that Fox and hate talk radio are urging followers to murder the president. The fearful, racially prejudiced audience for those hate-talkers are our nation's most dangerous potential assassins. Just ask the family of Dr. Tiller.

These aspiring TV clowns have shown potential assassins the way. They've had their 15 minutes of fame. They should be imprisoned. They should most definitely not be rewarded with a TV contract.
Coincidentally, while typing this, I've been watching a documentary on prison life. In the most recent scene, an inmate demonstrated the way to created a lethal weapon from the plastic lids of containers. It wouldn't be caught by metal or explosive detectors, of course.

Regardless, they did this as a stunt but this is very dangerous and these two should be in jail. Everyone involved in security should be fired. A lot of people are probably laughing right now but could you imagine how bad this could have turned out if it wasn't just some attention seeking whores? There's a lot of crazy people out there these days.

What is wrong with our secret service? how many percent has the threats against the president gone up? Yet they won't remove the people with guns who show up at locations where Obama is going to speak. They can't keep track of the guest list for a White House dinner.
Is it just me or does it seem like the Secret Service want something to happen at these events? There was tighter security at the Cheech and Chong concert last summer. uugggg!

Will the White House start making people take off their shoes and belts, and will they use plastic knives, forks and dishes now? Perhaps x-ray machines and cavity searches?
Come on, you can't even get into my work building without a freaking pass and going through those velvet ropes, as well as multiple security guards. And, this couple simply gets into this dinner? Nice.... Maybe that job can now be filled with someone competent. I'm sure someone out there could use the work.

they broke the law by trespassing, then boasted the act, which is basically a breach of national security. can you imagine what the bush administration woulda done!
It's like watching Joe the Plumber. These folks aren't bright, funny, interesting, THEY HAVE NO TALENT, and are completely willing to pimp their children, and breach National Security just to get their ugly faces on television.
As I said earlier, these criminals should be arrested and charged with felony trespassing along with lying to federal authorities in order to gain illegal entry into a Government sponsored event.

I think there is probably someone inside the secret service who is alarmed about how relaxed the secret service has been lately. In order to get their point across, they let this happen to wake the rest of the secret service agents up.
Even if this couple managed to get through the entrance, it seems highly unlikely that they would be announced by name as they walked into the event. Someone on the inside must have helped them do this.
This is a tribute to our society.. the couple obviously knows how to claim priviledge.. everyone involved should be held responsible in a public way.. 'a teaching moment' as the president says
Hmmm. Another couple doing something sensational so they can get a gig on a reality tv show. Not quite the suspense of the Balloon Boy saga, but I guess the party crashers were shooting for a more upscale series. I wonder if this will help or hurt their chances of getting on a reality show.
Nothing but a couple of cheap publicity seekers, but it does speak to the security of the vetting process for these events. I'm sure someone is going to be fired over this.
