Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye
By scarce Wednesday Jan 21, 2009 5:00pmGeorge Bush leaves the Capitol for the last time as President. Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews try to make sense of what it all means, while Peggy Noonan gives unintentionally hilarious commentary as the crowd jeers the departing Bush.

It's good to feel good again.
I just showed that clip to my wife, and we were both laughing our asses off. Never in my life, have I witnessed a US Prez basically told to get the hell lost. The closest I've seen, was former PM Brian Mulroney's kick in the pants. It was hysterical listening to the commentators TRYING to be serious.
I'm feeling good too.
Damn. Had to play it again!! Sweet music to the ears! Hear that Obama? Don't f*ck up like Bush or you just might get the same send off. If ever America had a day to be proud, it was of this part of the day more than anything else. You woke up!
A President this awful and inept comes along only once every two hundred and thirty two years or so.
Listen all! This is the truth of it. Fighting leads to killing, and killing gets to warring. And that was damn near the death of us all. Look at us now! Busted up, and everyone talking about hard rain! But we've learned, by the dust of them all... Washingtontown learned. Now, when men get to fighting, it happens here! And it finishes here! Two men enter; one man leaves.
Because of the failure of cheif justice Roberts flubbing it yesterday. Roberts should resign his Judgeship. And noiw we wonder if the business that was conducted up until the second oath that Obama performed is legal. Roberts is just another Republican PIG. Also Roberts should be called for asking Obama this, "So swear you God"?
That should have been a statement and not a question. The Cheif Justice has no responsibility to ask such a question,
Impeach this man that can not even carry out this duty. It just shows that he does not even know his job.
There's no Constitutional requirement for the oath of office, Obama WAS president at 12:00 noon on January 20th. The oath is merely a formality, according to Section 1 of the 20th amendment.
"The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January... and the terms of their successors shall then begin."
He was officially the elected president on Jan 8th, when the joint session of the Congress met and certified the election.
Before he shall enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation:--"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Hey TreadingWater whose country's president are you referring to?
What a lucky man George Bush is that he screwed up a wonderful country such as ours. In times past, such an incompetent leader who broke laws, lied to cause many thousands of deaths, and trampled the rules of the land - would have been overrun by an angry mob in a violent coup - in this country, we actually serenade him on the way out.
him on the way out if he were allowed 4 more years?
He would have left through the back door of the Doomsday bunker. Mission Accomplished
I can't agree. I will not and you can't make me, KISS HIM GOOD BYE.
even Obama hugged him. Or did he steal the taxpayer's wallet back?
He was telling him to not let the door hit him in the ass on his way out.
brotherhood kiss. That would have been sweeter than a hug.
the sun was shining. It filled and warmed my bedroom. This is one of the best days of my life. Goodbye and good riddance. Ahhhhh.
Hey George, thanks for the Democratic congress and White House and for single handedly taking down the GOP! Shame you had to wreck the nation to do it.
No fade away please.
and two other countries, and murder what, a million people or so?
His administration is more responsible for the global financial meltdown. Greedy bastards. How come helicopters don't crash when they are supposed to?
of the day was that damn chopper not exploding carrying all that evil in it.
so he and the crew could escape before the "tragedy".
...
if only the entire crowd had thrown their shoes at his helicopter as he departed.
kick him goodbye, in 1999-2000.
The funny thing is according to the local Dallas newsbroadcast last night, boosh landed in Midlothian with "crowds" to greet him and cheer him. They did sound loud and boisterous. According to the Dallas Morning Nudes, they gave the crowd as "thousands." However, in both cases the image was just of boosh, not the crowd, other than a few people. The Morning Nudes didn't cite a witness, a reporter or an official number; it just seemed pulled out of their ass.
It reminded me of some of mcgramps final appearances during his campaign where the cameras held him so tight to not show all the empty seats.
would have been Faux Snooze employees.
Wow, Cheney looks EXACTLY like Mr. Potter from It's A Wonderful Life. Have fun back in Potterville you old prick. Thanks for nothing.
I SWEAR I was just going to say that!
Hehehe. I said the same thing to my girlfriend the other day.
His transformation is complete.
"You once called me a warped, frustrated old man, George Baily!"
Ever notice that Potter NEVER gives back the 8,000 bucks he "finds" from Uncle Billy....haha
it's here and the 8k actually comes up...
Ever notice that Clarence could have saved George a lot of trouble if he had just told him that Potter had his money? Oh well, I like the movie the way it is. I always imagine that Potter passes away that night and goes to Hell for stealing George's $8,000.
I always thought there should be a story about an angel named Harald, as in Hark The Harald Angel Sings.
I have one so I knew immediately how to stay on thread
with the Bush departure theme song with a cameo by Uncle Dick.

That one brought tears to my eyes. VERY funny!
Many regard the lyrics to be Peggy Nonnan's finest work since the Rangers of Pont du Hoc speech.
I thought it was $3000....?
You do, every morning. They're your corporate masters!
thinking the exact same thing. Stoopid media pundit war cheerleading idiots.
A teaser on NBC just ran. Is it true? WTF?
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0109/177...
Suck it, Chris Wallace! Suck it hard!
Wish he hadn't done it, but I guess he felt it better safe than sorry?
Expect no apology from The Lesser...
or was MSNBC intentionally trying to drown out the crowd with Peggy Noonan's BS spiel? How stupid would you feel, yapping like that, and then watching the tape after and listening to that crowd? Amazing. Simply Amazing.
The minute Peggy quits yapping the director gooses the crowd sound so the singing doubles in volume. Peggy was in another location. Olbermann and crew were near the crowd.
cut her mic! Ha!
...if they would have had George Bush's shoes, or a replica therof, in the Port-a-Johns so everyone could piss on them!
I was in Times Square and the crowd was so loud you couldn't hear the broadcast very well. I was reading the jumbotron so I missed the singing. Later I heard reference to it but thought the bloggers were just using it for a title. I had no idea the crowd was really singing it.
You can't beat the spontaneous moments of the crowd. When Warren got up to give the invocation the crowd booed. I was filming in TS but missed the moment when CNN reported that as of noon Obama was the President of the USA the crowd just erupted in a loud cheer even before the official Oaf(John Roberts) of office happened.
I took video but TS was loud... It was like election night at Rockefeller Plaza the crowds were beside themselves w. excitement. I took a photo for a young couple from London and asked what they thought about what was going on here. And they said everyone was very happy with the change. Need they say more?
Let's say it loud, "President Obama, President Obama, President Obama" it happened it is real. Roarrrr the crowd goes wild....

Not from media. Hahahahaha.
:D
May he meet his fate behind bars as soon as possible. We must not let a horrendous war criminal escape justice or we are doomed as a nation.
so awesome. cbsnews did not show this.
for flying shoes. I honestly thought at least a few people would've been able to pull it off.
President Obama forgot to say in his speech that Americans are spoiled brats and need to be spanked. This video is just one of the many evidences of that truth.
Yes, we should all be more respectful of leaders who ruin the country.
People who continue to place all of the blame on the leaders of the country (and continue to look to them to solve all the problems) will only lose in the end and they will drag the rest of the country down with them. When you always place the blame elsewhere, you render yourself powerless.
The people of this country have become so rotten that they will also have beaten Obama to pieces by the time he is done. I think sometimes we are so clueless that we can't even learn a lesson when we "crash and burn"...we don't even recognize it when we have already crashed.
There is a new report on bushs wire tapping All the news mieda,24/7/365. any phone calls 2 min or less. every thing, e-mails,phone calls, cell phone calls, all tex. been doing this for about the last 7 years.
that asshole fron texas held up the AG post for a week. they want to know who he plans on bringing charges on any repugs for war crimes, ect.
man, I must really be getting old...but I thought it was terribly disrespectful. I know, I know, Dubya had it coming. I am very glad to see him go. He practically destroyed this country.
but, I thought the singing was a tad childish.
/flame me all you want.
//get off my lawn!!
It was terribly disrespectful.
I only regret i was not there to sing it too.
Bush is a bloody war criminal and you're concerned about not showing him enough respect and that booing and singing is "bad form"? You've got to be kidding me! Just be comformted that he wasn't given the Mousselini treatment and that America has a well established and peaceful transition of power. Geesh.
And I was brought up that respect is EARNED.
Like he EVER showed us any respect?
Fuck him!
Ya gotta SHOW respect, to GET respect.
I feel he's deserves NO respect from anyone, anywhere, EVER!
If I see him, I'm gonna throw my damn stank ass shoes at his ignorant fuckin face!
Sorry abarts, I'm not cussin at you...I'm just expressing my lack of respect for our former dictator.
Na Na Hey Hey...pretty funny. I'd also suggest a couple rounds of:
:F*ck You: by Ottorongo
:I Hate Everything About You: by Ugly Kid Joe
&
:You Suck: by The Callbacks
Yet another kick in the pants, you get to see Bush's displeasure on his face, I feel slightly bad....I don't like to see human suffering but he who asks shall receive right.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KvX8YHzMLQ&fe...
Didn't the crowd scream "No more bush" when Obama finished taking the oath? Maybe my ears were playing tricks on me.
I had this visual fantasy of seeing the pilot(s) ejecting from the helicopter's cockpit and then watching the craft spiral into the ground.
I would have played the Ray Charles classic, "Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more" but that would be too good for the likes of Bush. I have to say that I like the way Keith O continued to kick his ass right to the bitter end. Keith deserves a medal for his efforts.
Darth Cheney (Vuldamort)is so smart that he comes in a wheelchair as a way to deflect attention away from his loathsome self. Cheney and Bush are the real "evil-doers" and should be taking a ride to Federal prison for what they did.
Shouldna they've singing to boosh:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtMM2wxQxSE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbBnluNBMGc
?
after basically giving the citizens of this country (and the entire world for that matter) the middle finger for the past eight...I think it's the LEAST we could do...
Fuck off bush. you dumbfuck.
So someone in a wheelchair is held in low esteem. I'm in a wheelchair and matthews can suck my d*ck.
What a nutbag!
...too bad they couldn't hear the crowd singing in the helicopter.
This video is even more humiliating, as I think (and hope) Bush and Cheney could hear the crowd. Being booed by almost two million people has to suck.

......Up and into their ears for once UNCENSORED true and pure as a dam breaking and flooding a valley.
The Dalai Lama says he "loves George Bush" while we feel the on-task revulsion of the Gremlins Mom ramming the Gremlin into the microwave until it's green guts explode inside.
I love Michelle right down to her choice of a pus-yellow suit and green leather gloves...she can do no wrong!
At last a HUMAN family! Cheers, love and long life to them from one who still abandons Hope and if successful, Fear. Perhaps we've bought us some time for the 8 year sadness which has made it all so clear where our hearts are located to flood world and american consciousness so completely we can never betray ourselves again. Like previewing Hitler's future use of power and cutting his throat BEFORE he could massacre 12million people. It won't necessarily be Obama, it will be us and recognizing the contrast of being.
I've been wanting to change the AngelFoodMcSpade moniker for 13 weeks now when my original name wouldn't "take". (Have sent two requests so far) How can one send AFMS back to Mr. Natural forever?
