The Gonzales Cantata
By scarce Friday Sep 04, 2009 1:00pmDisgraced former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has had his evasive testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committe made into a 40 minute concert opera for the Philadephia Fringe Festival, the entire libretto taken from the hearing transcripts.
Also, check out the clever website design for gonzalescantata.com.
If you're in Philly you can watch any of three performances this weekend. INFO
Edit: Rachel did a segment on this last night as well.

or should that be "Can'tata"
no acknowledgment at all at this point.
I saw a clip from it on msnbc this afternoon. Who says there is no art in politics? You just have to work on it, that's all. Now they can so one with bush saying, We don't torture.
Tonight Beck found a crazy person to back up all the crazy things he has been saying, David Horowitz. Since Horowitz says he himself is an ex-communist, Beck feels he has all the scoop on what the "communist" in the bush administration are up to. Don't tell anyone but Horowitz believes Obama is forming a shadow government. Shhh!
political pop art would be more suitable.
... seriously, do you suffer from some sort of clinical condition which renders you unable of saying anything positive about anything... ever?
Okay, this is strange. I just clicked on the C&L link that I click on dozens of times each day, but this time it took me to Rachael Ray's Diet Page. When I clicked to close it a screen came up and asked me if I was sure I wanted to leave the site. I clicked yes and yet another screen came up to ask me if I really wanted to leave the site or did I want to stay there. I hit the button to leave and finally I was able to escape.
click.
Rachael Ray's Click and Ca Ching Page.
It's more wonderful than words can describe, literally.
we guarantee.
... unlike the half assed attempts at sarcasm and sardonicism by some of the posters in this site.
Gonzi's Book called:
I didn't do it - I was pressured by Dick.
But wait... there is more:
Dick will say: It was Bin laden and Alqueada fault...
I really enjoyed that.
