Will Ferrell's George Bush Farewell: Condi Rice Gets Down and Dirty With W
By Heather Sunday Mar 15, 2009 8:00am
Warning...not safe for work.
Will Ferrell hit one out of the park tonight on his HBO special You're Welcome America-A Final Night With George W Bush and this was one of the more irreverent moments of the night playing into the rumors about Bush and Rice having an affair. After opining about missing his Cabinet members Ferrell's Bush talks about the one he'll miss the most. And lo and behold his favorite Condi shows up for one last dirty dance in the Oval office with W.

Get that gap Georgie. Get it!

So when does Gannon show up in these skits?
Or would that require a real investigation?
go and buy yourself a sense of humor...
Switched back to Law and Order.
But Glenn was certainly interesting. She reminds of some of the strippers in our Chicago underground clubs...those sisters work it hard(and very well) for dollars.
[Deleted. You should probably ask for clarification before you make accusations like that. Site Monitor]
That was a compliment, [Deleted. Abusive. Site Monitort]. You clearly don't know shit about our culture.
I'm not Micheal Steele [Deleted]...I say what I want...[Deleted]
[Hey, I took care of both yours and hungryMoose's comments. DON'T OVERRIDE MY EDITS, LandL. You won't like what happens if you do it again. Now hash this out with hungryMoose in a more civil manner, please. Site Monitor]
That the Oval office needs another cleanin.
For a site where so many of us are against media centralization if five or six hands, we sure provide a lot of free publicity to GE's NBC's SNL.
But then I watch the same channel when I watch My Name is Earl.
This was HBO. That's Time Warner.
I rechecked the story and it was HBO
But wasn't Farrell's boosh shtick originated on SNL?
I didn't know HBO didn't show anything but sports.
They need an HMO.
And actually Time/Warner is one of the 5 or 6 media centralized hands.
HBO doesn't show much in the way of sports, ysbadadden. A little boxing, tennis (I'm not even sure they carry early round Wimbledon any longer).
You sure you're not confusing HBO with ESPN?
I haven't had cable since MTV was all music,
And
Michael Jackson had his real nose.
fiscally raped that further obfuscation and feeble attempts to point the public to the joys of American Idol will only cause serious backlash in the very near future.
No big secret ever since Condi slipped and called GWB her husband on live TV.
though how even though we are in Depression 2 everyone's still running off "reveling" in one form or or the other.
Very funny! Loved it!
.
Ain't it great?

Both Condi and Bush deserved that tribute. The last eight years has been that kind of joke.
Saw this last night..........friggin hilarious.
warming his hands over her gyrating desk pilates.......oh snatch........oops, snap!
Ferrell does a great Bush but I didn't think that excerpt was all that funny. There is so much you can do to make fun of Condi, just having her dance like a slut for a few minutes seems a little sexist and kinf og lame.
Well the paying audience certainly loved it.
like that are usually more funny in person, not to mention it helps to have had a few drinks. Maybe that's the problem, haven't started cocktail hour yet, although you wouldn't know it from my typing.
The VA is telling me I have to stop drinking totally due to chronic pancreatitis.
But one of my doctors warn me that I have to wean off gradually or I risk going into spasms.
There is a chubby guy who does a better Bush. He appeared on Letterman quite a few times. I forget his name, but his impersonation is great.
about 10 minutes into the show where he shows a certain body part!
One thing I noticed is that Will Ferrell showed Bush a great deal of respect. He didn't mispronunciate many words at all!
Will Ferrell: Obama Thinks So Carefully, He "Too Politically Savvy" For Satire
Here is a old joke that applies to Obama.
WILL FERRELL AS PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH - "Hello, my fellow Americans. I have chosen to schedule this impromptu address at night because quite frankly every time I speak during the day, the Stock Market goes in the crapper.
Obama... Bush... the same thing, right?
You guys are going overtime with the talking points, LOL.
Who cares whether it was funny or not, I just want to see wingnut heads explode over this, and believe you me, they will.
I'm all for exploding wing nut heads.
excellent, actually...
i didn't care much for the show... funny enough at times, but was disappointed with the whole...
but, with "exploding wing nut heads" in mind, it was perfect!
will ferrel is a one trick pony , at best he can come up with ten minutes of comedy that is worthy of immitating bush , after that the comparison of bush goes down the crapper as it would on saturday night live and wasted, ogggah boooga booogas not funny , but even commedians with piss poor scripts have to eat!
Not really. I can stand a mocking of Bush just as much as anyone, but Will Ferrell's version is good for about 3 minutes as a skit. It gets boring fast.
If you want to laugh at GW-See Oliver Stones Movie W-Josh Brolin was superb
. This worked for about 5 minutes for me-I got tired of it fast and I didn't think Will Ferrell was funny-Then again.I never thought he was funny-This humor seemed forced to me
Wanna laugh-Listen to Bill Mahr talk about Bobby Jindal performing and exorcism on Real time Friday Night
I laughed my ass off!!
was when the hotline phone was ringing and when he finally got the nerve to answer it like a scared 5 year old, it was someone wanting to make some dinner reservations.
"God damn! That scared the SHIT outta me!"
LMAO
I despise bush so much that I cannot even stand to see his face, let alone watch a "comedy" about that lying, war mongering son of a bitch!
I am trying to keep a civil tongue when I say that.
sentiment. I feel pretty much the same way...all the corruption, death, lies, torture, people losing so much of their retirement savings.... all for what? Power and money? So lame, twisted and evil. I can't find much humor about bush reign of terror... only a desire to see justice re-emerge from the shadows and come for them. That is all I care for when it comes to bush.
Pia Glenn can dance! As an aging dancer with a dodgy hip and a blown spinal disk, I can only say, parody or not - I'm jealous.
The material was very funny and Will did a fantastic job. It may not have come off very funny to many because so much of what he covered was true life shit. We had a moron for a President for 8 years. That joke wore out fast also. The difficulty in a show about Bush is trying to lampoon something that was already completely over the top. Just acting out the actual, factual things they did comes off as made up.
I really like the moment sitting at his desk after winning the election and thinking, shit, now I have to do this job and don't have a clue how to do it.
I thought she was Michelle Malkin.
Why is this so believable? Yet not as professionally performed.
