sorry, but having been in the navy, i'm a bit confused about which part of the "boat" is the "flank"..i'm ok with aft or forecastle...or maybe, amidships....but "flank"....???...i feel sorry for the people in her district....fortunately, they also have al franken....who will, no doubt, look out for their BEST interests.....
...below decks.....and the "periwinkle" thing...priceless....the only thing she got right - by military terminology - was skivvies....and then she went on to the chaplains and naked sailors...hmmmm...oh boy, don't know if she should have gone there.....
As far as this expose goes, there's not a whole lot of there there.

Like one commenter noted above, she even makes up nautical terms. I've gone from Antony and Actium to Nelson and Trafalgar to Kincaid and the Surigao Straits and I'm damned if I can find ANY reference to an individual ship having a "flank."
