More of Rep. Alan Grayson speaking some truth to power. From The Ed Schultz Show Oct. 9, 2009. When asked what he thinks of the Republicans being so negative about the President winning the Nobel Peace Prize, he responds:
Grayson: I think I understand their disappointment. They're not going to be winning the Nobel Peace Prize themselves anytime soon. They probably wish there a Nobel Prize for fear, a Nobel Prize for hatred, a Nobel prize for racism. You know, then they'd be in the running, but I don't think they're going to be winning a Nobel Peace Prize soon.

Republicans charge like bulls through china shops and grab the mantle of power, proceeding then to ram their program through, no matter the casualties. When they reach levels of greed, corruption and failure so excessive that even comatose Americans can no longer stand it, some Democrat is called in to hold down the fort long enough for the regressive's to regroup and start the cycle again.

Last night on BBC World News, John Bolton said awarding Obama the Nobel Peace Prize was "highly political. Jimmy Carter in 2002, Al Gore in 2007, and now Barack Obama in 2009. It's the Nobel Prize Committee's way of saying, 'Wake up, America!'."
Can't argue with that. But Bolton so despises the International Community (that's why Bush gave him the job of UN Ambassador) that he can actually recognize this fact and STILL not take the hint.
Astounding.

If Bush had won when he was nominated, we'd still be hearing about it. But the party of losers yet again cannot handle being losers. So what do they do....whine like big titty babies.
As for Grayson....well, he better start watching his back, because I'm afraid he may have an "accident", or at least a "scandal".

Alan Grayson is honest, intelligent, caring, willing to fight for his beliefs, and unapologetic to his detractors.

Regardless of whether you think Obama deserves the prize or not, can't we as a nation just be gracious that our president was honored?

And is says a lot about the state of politics today that it is coming from someone who's been in congress all of 8 months total.
The Democratic party has been getting punched in the teeth and kicked in the groin by the Republicans for GENERATIONS, and our leadership has reacted to that by scratching their chins and contemplating the significance of it.
Things need to change... we win on EVERY single major issue facing this country today, and we win by large margins.
And one more thing-- don't think some of the stepped-up rhetoric coming from the DNC and White house over that last week has nothing to do with watching Grayson. I'd bet dollars to donuts it has a lot to do with it.

Alan Grayson is like cleavage I can't stop watching him. Imagine if you could take the best putting golfer the best driver and the best chipper of all time and roll them in to one. That would be Alan Grayson .Every time I here him speak I am just in awe of how fantastic of a word smith this guy is, to say he is talented is an understatement. I used to think Howard Dean held the mantel of telling it like it is and framing issues the right way but this guy Grayson is the Rookie sensation of the year no doubt.
And Grayson can deliver it in spades.
The problem with the Dems is they've been beaten down for so long, they've got Stockholm Syndrome and they're identifying with their captors.
Grayson is a great example of how to get your point across and get it heard.
Grayson rocks. He doesn't pull any punches. Finally a Dem with a middle finger and he know how and when to use it.
