Good grief. Newt Gingrich was treated like a rock star at the CPAC 2010 Convention. He entered the auditorium with "Eye of the Tiger" playing and the audience gave him a standing ovation and pats on the back as he made his way to the stage. For a party that trashed President Obama as a "celebrity" these people sure do like their fanfare don't they?

How many people actually CONNECT with these losers... twenty percent of voters? Ladies and gentlemen... the RIGHT WING of the Republican Party. NOT A PRETTY SIGHT.

kittycollins's picture

it's between 35%-40%. NOT A PRETTY SIGHT.

I wish everyone of those MFers would just head south and start their own hell hole country and leave us alone.

Care about this convention. I had more people attend my high school talent show than attended this convention. The vast majority couldn't care less about this bullshit.

Is it the 21st century yet?

The only thing that can beat that is the 8 ball and the blowjob waiting for him on the bus.

Gotta gal right here who (say's she'll) blow him, if she can just see that 'ball.

Trust her Salamander, she says she's a Republican. And I know you guys don't lie...

Contract on American, and helped make it a resounding success. That way, we ALL lose.

If this guy is representative of the top 1% watch out down below.

Treating Gingrich like "a rock star" is another cry for help.

While I think your comment is way over the top and grossly inappropriate, I am going to go off topic a bit. I do have to say that the most interesting serial killers had to be Ed Gein, Albert Fish and, the sickest of all, Herman Webster Mudgett.

Anyone that has read up on serial killers has to admit, Mudgett was the most interesting killer. He was able to capitalize on his murders by selling his victims' skeletons to Medical Schools. He built a hotel "murder castle" where he killed off people visiting during the worlds exposition of 1893. Of all of the serial killers, he was able to turn his murderous rampage into profit.

Although, Albert Fish had the most interesting execution since he had a habit of shoving metal into his skin. He shorted out the electric chair.

As to your comment, chill out. Extreme rhetoric like that does not make your point more relevant or salient. It is simply an ad hominem attack. You should try to spark a few brain cells to post a comment that is not purely a personal slam trying to pick the most outrageous language you can surmise.

Besides, remember why the half hour news hour failed so completely. It only made ad hominem superficial attacks which really is very lame.

So, put down the drink, bong or whatever made your brain get so dull and think before you write something that sounds just as stupid as a Hitler Obama Sign.

They do not have the moral or intellectual maturity to be an adult.
These people are nothing but petulant children unable to make rational decisions. They do noot have the maturity to even vote much less be in charge.
republicanism/conservatism is a mental illness!

of the Obama presidency, people are clamoring for the breath of fresh air only a return to republican rule can bring. Seriously, they could at least wait a year or two, let the stench left by the Bush administration clear a bit before they start posturing as the champions of the common man.

Newt Gingrich: Elder Statesman????
The longer the music plays the fewer words spoken....that would be a good thing.
Anyone have a better suggestion for Newt Gingrich intro music?

How's this:

"the Imperial March" from Star Wars comes to mind, but Dick Cheney's got the rights to that.

How about "Yakety Sax"? That seems more Gringrich's style.

You cant beat they're coming to take me away for Newt.

bmw 528's picture

Newtie is their superstar? Oh, let's go back in time a bit and remember these gems of wisdom from a fraud:

"If combat means living in a ditch,
females have biological problems staying in
a ditch for thirty days because they get infections
and they don't have upper body strength.
I mean, some do, but they're relatively rare."

and this:

"He walked out in the spring of 1980.... By September, I went into the hospital for my third surgery. The two girls came to see me, and said, "Daddy is downstairs. Could he come up?" When he got there, he wanted to discuss the terms of the divorce while I was recovering from my surgery." - Jackie, his first wife.

and this:

Newt pressed his first wife to sign divorce papers while she was still in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery. He also graciously said "She isn't young enough or pretty enough to be the President's wife." But his second marriage hasn't been that smooth either. Newt and Marianne have been separated - "frankly", she told the Washington Post in June 1989, "it's been on and off for some time."

What an arrogant asshole--perfect for these CPAC authoritarian haters and slobs.

will never be elected to another position. He knows it and so does the RNC. There are way too many skeletons in that closet.

Oh, and there is way too much money on the FUX circuit to ever take a public pay job.

for giving these neocon fascists full coverage. Maybe these rightwing teabaggers will get a clue of who they are following and get their heads on straight. Not much of a chance of that but, I can hope.

And I agree ron, thank you C-Span for letting the worls see these people. They need as much exposure as possible.

I love how he is always talking about "the government this and the government that." This prick has been on the government tit literally his whole fucking life. He was born in an Army hospital, went to government schools, had a pension from his dead Army father, was a teacher, then in government. Has never had a private sector job in his whole miserable life the useless tick. He has the morals of a riverboat gambler and the ethics of a drug dealer. And the republicans love him. Go figure.

NaturalGrower's picture

That it's the "principled" neo-cons that have to keep making promises to stick to their principles? I'm thinking Contract for America, whatever the hell that was the other day near Mt. Vernon, and a newly proposed CFA? Sadly, their followers will not piece this together and will once again believe their "promise" this time around too.

Sorry... it simply makes more sense that way...

Of course he was treated like a rockstar, who else have they got? They need someone that links them to their heyday. Someone who came before the great George W. Bush disaster.

The best player on a last place team of dipshits.

Very intimidating.

got a new Contract On America coming... I can't wait to see how bad this next one is... how's that term limit stuff working out for Republicans these days?

I think the only fighting he's been doing is for seconds or thirds.

Maybe the Bob Evans ad music would have been more apropos.

Oh wait that's right teabaggers only have a 12 hr memory span. Never mind.

they cheer for someone who was forced out of congress for being too corrupt, even for that institution not known for it's integrity...
a 'family values' douchebag who divorced his wife while she was getting treatment for cancer... now on his third? fourth wife?

scums of a scumbag scum together.

You forgot to mention he was having an affair with an intern while he was trying to impeach Bill Clinton for.....wait for it......having an affair with an intern. The GOP has no values, if Clinton does it he's beyond redemption and a horrible human being. If Newt does the same thing they never speak of it again and pretend it never happened and honor him like a rock star and make him a Fox news contributor. Character never mattered and it never will matter to republicans. Winning and tax cuts is what matters to them, everything else from character to gays to abortion is just a phony prop to use to fool the rubes so they can cut their own taxes period.
