Karl Rove has the nerve to criticize Obama over how they're handling Fitzgerald's investigation.

Despite the fact that he completely contradicted himself from his statements last week, Karl Rove had the nerve go to on Hannity & Colmes and chastise the President-elect Obama for how he and his team are handling their response to the Fitzgerald investigation of Rod Blagojevich.
When Rove decides to explain his role in the outing of Valerie Plame, or his role in the prosecution of Don Siegelman (for which he has failed to appear before Congress despite a subpoena), then maybe anyone should care about his opinions and his regard for the rule of law. At least it earned him a spot on Keith Olbermann's Worst Person list.
Rove and the rest of the Villagers that cannot wait to see how all of this plays out. They're all too happy to pass judgment before they know what's going on with the Blagojevich scandal; perhaps they should just shut their yaps in the meantime.
If there were actually any respect for the rule of law left in this country, Rove would be sitting in a jail cell in the basement of the Congress if nowhere else instead of being allowed to spew propoganda on Fox News.

Rove needs to give his mouth a colonic.
...a porcupine enema.
Crystal Drano should do the job
"If there were actually any respect for the rule of law left in this country,"
So let's include the Democrats, because they voted the subpoena for Rove and then refuse to enforce it. And Obama is conspicuously silent on the matter. Maybe Pat Leahey can write another scathing letter.
completely and that is exactly who I meant to be taking a shot at with that comment.
Couldn't agree more. Its all very well that we take Rove to task, rightly so, but also we should be laying into the Dems for not enforcing the law. It's no wonder Rove wanders around saying what he likes, dishes it up to Obama yet the very people he is criticising havent the spine to haul Rove before the Court. Seems if thats the situation, as much as I loathe Rove, cant blame him for his up you to the Democrats attitude, they ask for it.
To get Rove to say anything about anything you are going to have subpoena him. What?
Did I mention how much I hate this asshole?

Shut his "yap"? I would like to stick a shovel in it.
boosh borrowed it to shovel snow.
The brown stuff wasn't snow and he's still shoveling it to us.
boosh had to use turdblossom's shovel
McDonald's discontinued their straw-spoons.

For the new congress to have any credibility and for the Obama administration to get any credibility they are going to have to do something about these subpoenas that Rove and Harriet just shined on as if they don't have to do anything they don't feel like doing. We, after all is said and done, are a country of laws and these sons of bitches have broken the law. If Obama and the new congress don't do anything about it than the honeymoon will be over quickly.
This is the problem you receive, when Nancy Pelosi and other democrats do not perform the constitution duty and impeach a criminal which has stolen the office of president of U.S.
And, their other crimes of treason , torture , illegal spying and so on. and so on. and so on.
How did Pelosi get re-elected much less by 72% of the votes.... Are the democrats sleep walking and not paying attention to what the elected officials are doing...
We (the voters) we duped in 2006.
/shame on Pelosi, Reid, and Rahm.
who would vote to convict- even with taped confessions by the accused.
Be progressive. Move on. Figure out other ways to get Bushco behind bars.
...and he should be. Pity is *isn't* scared shi#less: He's really shoveling it fast and furiously. I even think its oozing from his ears as well as his mouth.
Obama's gonna get him and get him good.
We should have a countdown on the days that Karl Rove has avoided jail or avoided his subpoena. If Lou Dobbs can have show after show on the immigration issue, we ought to be able to stay focused on something like this for awhile. Damn I hate when the criminals succeed.
I agree. If someone comes up with one I'd gladly include it in any posts I write about him. Unfortunately I'm not that tech savvy.
Where's a size 10 loafer when you need one?
you're free to chuck my size 15's at his head if you wish.
Karl is working hard and saying anything for a buck. He needs money for legal fees with his up coming criminal charges.
But is it too much to ask that Colmes slap a few of these folks silly on his way out the door?

Andrew Sullivan Is A Fraud
I thought that I was so used to Karl Rove's two-faced lying that nothing could surprise me anymore. Yet, he continues to do just that. What balls this guy has. He is possibly the most despicable person that has ever been in politics. When will we finally be free of this tool?
The total hypocrisy of this lying bastard appalls me. We have here a man who has refused to testify before Congress, stating false reasons of executive privilege accusing someone else of hiding something for which the US Attorney has given a perfectly reasonable reason. KKKarl Rove should spend the rest of his life behind bars for the damage he has doneto this great nation. The top reason is stealing elections to allow the shrub to be in the White House in the first place.
What a total piece of sh*t he is.
Anyone who's been awake the last 9 years is not going to waste their time listening to anything that Karl Rove has to say.
Where are the interviews with the Democrats who refuse to enforce United States law? Oh that's right, they represent the same group that Rove's party does - the 10% wealthy elite class that just got a $700 billion, Changing Parties Bonus.
Move out the old Crooks. Move in the New Crooks.
When someone, just one person, who aided and abetted George Bush commit 8 years of murderous, criminal activity out of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, when just one f-ing person goes to jail, then I'll start believing in my country again. As it stands, I have now confidence or hope for anything related to the USA.
I'm there too. I can't take the crap coming out of the Reich wingers any longer. I also agree that it will be surprising if anyone is tried for crimes against the country, much less go to jail, but I for one cannot give up hope for our future.
And anyway, the new crooks are our crooks. ;>
To my dismay I doubt the Obama administration is going to use any of their time on these criminals. Yes they all deserve to be tried for treason but something tells me Obama is not going to take this on. Sigh.
As Thomas Jefferson said sometimes a little blood spilled is healthy for a Democracy. We can't even get our own leaders to follow our laws and do what is right. Can you imagine how hopeless and helpless people from other countries we take advantage of must feel. It is no wonder many people turn to terrorism to be heard. We are bucking for a revolution in this country. It's the last thing I'd ever want to see happen but it's happened many times throughout history and we are ripe for it to happen again.
Prosecuting Bush Cheney Rove and their gang of criminals would be the most healthy healing answer for our country and the world.I'm sick of hearing the talking heads saying the American people don't have an appetite for going after these criminals. We are starving for it.
Why doesn't someone just slice and dice him and get him over with? Why is he still being allowed to pollute the airwaves?
Obama would have been demonized to the Nth degree if he stood up and refused to cooperate with the Federal Prosecutor. In that instance, we would have heard how uncooperative Obama is for failing to listen to the request of Fitzgerald, and it would have probably gone so far as to also accuse him of doing it to show contempt for the republican party as Fitz is republican.
