I agree with Jack Cafferty on DeLay's appearance on Dancing With the Stars.

Cafferty: Did you show that Tom DeLay video yet. That's just disturbing...

Blitzer: If you haven't seen it...

Cafferty: It's just disturbing. It's very disturbing.

Blitzer: It takes guts to do that.

Cafferty: It takes something. I'm not sure guts is it.

Blitzer: Wild thing, you make my heart sing.

Cafferty: When he goes to prison they can show that, like the dances and stuff to the general inmate population.

Census worker hanged with 'fed' on body

Suspend all census activity in rural Ky. and listen to the screaming when the congressional seats are remoed and federal money dries up.

really the answer?

It drives me a little nutsy how many people are warbling about how courageous Tom DeLay is for being on Dancing With the Stars.

How about standing up to Cheney. Wouldnt THAT have taken a set of balls?

The fact that prison rape is still a big joke to everybody.

miss_kitty's picture

there is nothing funny about rape.

Never confuse courage with the unstopable urge to make an ass out of yourself. Some people will do anything for attention.

marcozandrini's picture

Bingo!

of course if he ever does go to prison (doubtful) it will be in a white collar prison

I once witnessed a homeless man come in a White Castle restaurant here in Chicago, step to the cashier, pull his dick out and pee all over the counter.

I guess that took "guts" too.

eating the food.

O'lielly called him a true patriot. Blitz, you and Bill are both fucking nuts! I agree with Jack. It's very disturbing. I hope to hell Deloser get's booted off the show.

Texas has white collar correctional facilities only in that everyone in every institution wears nothing but white. They do not segregate based on type of crime. They do segregate based on risk of violence due to the nature of the offender.

I saw it couple of times on each of Rachel, Keith, and Tweety's shows. I needed some serious brain bleach before 8pm. Disturbing was mild. If you're booty is that . . . . ew then you shouldn't shake it on national television. Talk about corrupting the children. Oh won't somebody think of the children? I mean it answered the question: boxers or briefs and I just didn't need that answered. Oh God I need more alcohol now to erase that whole memory.

It is mass destraction and a set-up. All the blogoshpere is picking on poor Tommy-boy, making him a sympathetic person as opposed to the criminal he is and would appear if the stories about him were also about his trial.

Mission Accomplished. They have spun him.

LeftandLeft's picture

This no dancing, flat ass felon is an asshole and is being treated accordingly.

You sir are most likely not a typical member of this shows target audience. My point is that much of the jury pool is, and his performing on the show and the ridicule the "dirty hippies" are heaping on him will be reflected during the trial. Hell, I'd wager actual cash that half the "target audience" don't even know/remember who he was, or what he's been indicted for.

Heather's picture

way too much credit. And this is not a "news" site. It's a blog. It is a distraction and one in which DeLay and the media are "spinning him" as a sympathetic character. Cafferty was one of the few to remind people that the man probably belongs in prison, which is why I posted it.

The majority of my co-workers had no idea who the hell Tom DeLay even is, but they were talking about him being on that show. I had to tell them what his background is.

If any jurors are tainted, it's going to be because of the white washing the media gave him, not because I posted Jack Cafferty reminding everyone how repulsive it is that they let him on there.

... I don't know who might be. Look at that skin. Look at the way he moves.

Look into those eyes. They are trying to suck your soul right out of your body.

He is pure spiritual darkness.

His expression as Cafferty was alluding to Tom Delay's potential prison stint was pricessless... moreso than his facial expressions on "Celebrity" Jeopardy.

Way to go, Jack Cafferty!

Even more disturbing than the dancing was the video of the practice sessions. The guy wears his sweat pants pulled up to his nipples with a tucked in polo shirt. The only thing he was missing was the fanny pack. What a total Douche!

an adult diaper under his pants. That and a Texas A&M T-shirt.
The latter does not make him a douche. It makes him an Aggie.

(Are they sticking through my cap?)

UPDATE: I have come to learn that Mr. Delay, despite wearing an Aggie T-Shirt, never matriculated at Texas A&M. The T-shirt may have been acquired during criminal activity on that campus, although charges, if any, from that incident, like his curent indictment, have never gone to trial.

What Cafferty and Blitzer said was just funny. Really funny.

Blitzer does realize that DeLay's been indicted, doesn't he? What an ass.

Is a source of pride for the GOP. A real badge of (dis)honor. It puts you in their upper echelon of criminals and incompetents--true elite status.

put you higher up the list of potential hires at FOX spews.

some sort of deviancy to Mr. Delay of either a criminal or sexual nature.

Mr. Delay He wore an Aggie T-Shirt at dance practice. As a college student Mr. Delay visited Texas A&M.

As you can see from this ritual involving Texas A&M, which dates to Mr. Delay's time at that fine institution, Mr. Delay's behavior is consistent with his activities there which has prepared him for his past, present, and future activities.

Note the uniform of students and their positioning. Note the "Yell Leader" who commands attention and action. He is dressed as they do at another Texas institution which is predominately male and has residential programs Mr. Delay might take advantage of should a court so decide.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwoMHsTVQXw

NOTE: This has been updated to remove references to Mr. Delay as a graduate of Texas A&M, although many of his later activities were guided by his student days, at least one of which was spent at Texas A&M.

Will you people stop with the buttsex allusions...it's disgusting and offensive. [Deleted-Sitemonitor]

That said, prison rape humor is not clever and not particularly funny. As evidenced by the previous lines of my post which were not clever and not particularly funny. So let's just stop it already.

it takes guts to get indicted for conspiring to violate campaign finance laws......YOU JACKASS

jmmartin's picture

Thanks, Jack! Remember, this shithead, along with Jack Abramoff and that little rat, Ralph Reed, conspired to cheat a tribe of Native Americans in Texas who were trying to get some kind of legislation passed or a waiver of some sort. The N.A. tribe paid these pricks a TON of money and the pols and lobbyist did absolutely nothing to help them. DeLay, just as Cafferty says, belongs in a prison. The fact that a major TV network like ABC would even allow DeLay on might seem obscene were it not for the fact that DeLay is making a fool of himself -- even Scarborough said he was "embarrassed for him."

If you watch the clips, you just have to wonder, is this bug exterminator a little light in the loafers? I think he missed his calling. He should have gone into dancing full time. He could have made it to Hollywood, Vegas, or Broadway. I am sure he would find a cute boy to date even if he flunked the auditions.

Delay is a "Dancing Fool". What balls that he has going on a show while he is a felon. He is delusional. Kind of flaunts in the our faces. I would love to slap his face off. Makes me sick
