Despite the Club for Growth, Dick Armey and Sarah Palin's involvement in New York's 23rd District Congressional race resulting in Democrat Bill Owens being elected, Fox News Sunday makes The Club for Growth's Chris Chocola their "Power Player of the Week". Yeah, the power to drag the Republican Party even further to the right. Wallace touts that as a good thing for the party.

going to get, "We the people don't want a fascist corporate run government."

I keep waiting to hear anyone use "Count" as Chocola's first name.

its two for one night -- and the buffet is outta this world!

Then move to his old district. We've been calling the loser Count Choco for years! I thought he went back to working for daddy after losing his seat. It took three elections for the majority of this district to wake up to the fact this guy was an empty suit and tool.

i rhought I saw his picture on a box of cereal.

You'ld figure that a leader of this organization would be named after a cheap ripoff of a nutritionally horrendous breakfast food. A failed cheap ripoff of junk that itself wouldn't be on anyone's breakfast table were it not for massive marketing to half-awake zomboid consumers.

The Club for Growth has been a power player, and the NY move did disrupt the GOP national leaders, so Chris Wallace developed and supported the "Power Player of the Week" trope.

You can hate the Club for Growth focus (I do), but I think your implied criticism or mockery directed toward Wallace's report lacks substance and in fact is off-base.

even by the Republicans' foul standards. Josh Marshall basically stalked him for the entirety of the push to privatize Social Security (Chocola was a pro-privatization congressman from Indiana who later went down to crashing defeat in the 2006 election).

Really a great party AGAINST the people.

Quote Chris Chocola the leader of this supposed new fangled group,

"We don't get involved with social issues"

Then who needs ya' or maybe you can subcontract that

out to Halliburton and their gang of mercenaries!

Kill as many people as possible then we could get along with a

super mini GOVERNMENT? Ha, Ha, Ha

I suggest Count Chris go pitch a fork!

that govt is a monopoly?

perhaps he proposes another govt compete with the US govt? *cough* treason *cough*

nah, its more like he and his naive ilk feel that the market is a substitute for govt: in other words they prefer plutocracy over democracy

club for growth: plutocracy or bust!

Dear chris

Love your cereal.
