Neal Boortz makes Ed Shultz's Psycho Talk for his latest hate filled screed comparing Katrina victims to "debris". I hope this means Boortz won't be making any more appearances on Ed's show.

Yes, I'm outraged just as you are. I feel as if I'm living inside some futuristic movie, like Blade Runner. Psychos like Boortz are also reminders of the Nazis and their talk of ethnic 'cleansing.' The scariest thing is there have always been hate-mongers among us, but never have they had such influence, such platforms from which to speak; never were they legitimized by the media. Orwell's '1984' is fast becoming non-fiction.
The health care 'debate,' as example, has been an overwhelming success for the propagandists (and, I fear, just warm-up for eliminating/privatizing Medicare and Social Security). In a short period of time, the PR folks who manage the news have completely brainwashed the already-ignorant and forced many millions of others to question rational, moral, common-sense thinking.
A few weeks ago, at the beginning of these town hall fiascos, my doctor--who I've known for almost 20 years as a decent and compassionate man--referenced the town halls, which he had seen on the news the night before, and said to me, 'People are getting angry out there. Do you think Obama is a socialist?'

Here's a little background on Boortz: He's a World-Class Liar and Draft-Dodging Yellow-Bellied Chickenhawk!
Boortz for years lied outright to his radio audience,employers,radio stations that his show is on and anyone that would listen to him that he graduated from Texas A&M in 1967 and couldn't serve in the military during the Vietnam War because either of bad eyes and or asthma!
Boortz dropped out or flunked out of Texas A&M for good on June 3,1967 as a junior.Before dropping out he bought himself a class ring (Class of 1967) on May 26,1967!The ring which later turned up on his finger in a photo of him sitting on a plane with then Gov Maddox of Georgia(he has said he was a speechwriter for the Governor) This picture showed up on his web site after a all-night back patting episode by himself! The Office of the Registrar at Texas A&M supplied the above information.
His claim of being 4-F or Registrant not qualified for military service was also one big lie!
Boortz started at Texas A&M in the fall of '64 and had a 1-D deferment(Member of a Reserve component or student taking military training.) This deferment lasted until Feb of 1968.Remember he quit school in May of 1967!
After 3 semesters he dropped out of school never notifying the Selective Service, as required by federal law! Returning to college but having quit the ROTC he continued with his ROTC deferment till a daughter was supposedly born in Feb of 1968! One note, Boortz has never put forth any proof what-so-ever (like a birth certificate) that he had a daughter born in Feb of 1968! That gave him a 3-A deferement as a Registrant with child or children!
Then from May 26,1967 till Sept of '05 when he was outed as liar and the draft-dodging yellow-belied chickenhawk he is,Boortz constantly lied to the world that he was a graduate of Texas A&M, Class of 1967 and 4-F because of either bad eyes or asthma! The Selective Service supplied the above information!
Note: Boortz has a FAA pilot license with those same "bad eyes" He can fly, but couldn't fight in the jungle because of his "bad eyes!"

I don't know if boortz dodged the military by going to college, joining the ROTC, then slipping out of school, with the intent of escaping military service or not.
As a measure of your credibility, I would ask: Did you expose William Jefferson Blythe Clintonfor doing exactly that? He wrote he had done so.
If you are being consistant, then my hat is off to you. If you call this action evil for one while excusing it for another, I would say the truth has no meaning for you, and your missive is therefore suspect.
I spent twenty years in the military, and I do not excuse the behavior. There are millions of good citizens however, who did childish things when they were young. Clinton never changed his views, and I do not know of Boortz.
The flooding that occurred four years ago in New Orleans was an unnatural disaster. The failure of the federal levee system was the cause. Hurricane Katrina is used as shorthand to describe the disaster, but New Orleans weathered the storm until the failure of the levees.
The fact is the right wing hates New Orleans. Why? Because it's not a corporate city and has a mixture of classes and races? Well, that's not the main reason.
The REAL reason is that Katrina defeated the Republican Party and in a weird way the little guy won. The REAL reason the right wingers hate Mayor Ray Nagin has nothing to do with he has done as mayor. It's because he made the federal government look bad with that famous interview three days after Katrina. Look at what happened after Katrina, Harriet Miers, endictment of Tom Delay, Jack Abramoff, Alberto Gonzales, various senator sex scandals, Walter Reed facility, torture, economic crisis, etc. I have trouble remembering all of the scandals. Even the news reporting of the Iraq War changed after Hurricane Katrina. Then, the Republicans lost power and now we have a Democratic black president.
Essentially, the right wingers know that their loss of power started with New Orleans and they will forever be bitter against the Crescent City because of it.
You gotta admit, they are really good at blaming the victim.
consider the falacy of the premise which states the federal government is evil, so the answer is to give more power to the federal government so the federal government can police the abuses of governmental power.
The lesson of WWII is not that we should not hate, or that scocialism is good, just not for national scocialists (NAZI).
The lesson is to never give that much power to your government. There are always evil people in the world and eventually they will get hold of that power.
Keep the federal government impotent at domestic affairs. This way the federal government will not build racist water retention systems nor will it control your health.
