Chris Van Hollen appeared on Hardball and did what we need to be seeing a lot more of from the Democrats, called out the Repubican leadership for pouring gas on the flames with these protesters and added this:

Van Hollen: It's time that there be some adult supervision within the Republican Party, that some Republican leader say this is not acceptable and we can disagree with one another without this kind of outrageous conduct.

That would be an easier task if there were any, but there aren't. I'm glad to see Representatives Van Hollen and Clyburn coming out forcefully on this like they were today. It's terrible that things had to get this toxic for them to finally feel it was politically tenable to do it.
