After hearing a report that Barack Obama plans to use his full name during his inauguration, Bay Buchanan comes to the conclusion that all of that fearmongering and race-baiting the GOP used during the election has just magically gone away and it was perfectly fine for them to have used his middle name in the manner they did.
So, Bay: If what you say is true, or if you even believe it yourself (which I doubt), why then did John McCain feel the need to repudiate Bill Cunningham?

With all the loss the Republicans has incurred in the last two elections, they continue to do the same things that has made "mainstream" dislike their style of politics. The media call the Republican's behavior spin. The Democrats call their behavior partisan. The people defines their behavior has lying.
Two elections have brought the Republicans to the brink of a black hole of powerless existence. When the media reports Republican's the out of touch opinions on today's issue, MSM call it spin. This does nothing for what has become a nasty trend to Americans. It's cold, it's big business, it's anti everyday people; yes, it is Republican opinion, and the American people have scene it enough to know what it going to be before it is said.
The fact that Republicans, after each election, continue to do the same thing is not as puzzling as one would think. They address the people in schematics that always involve semantics. Instead of a healthy sense of correcting what they have did wrong, the Republicans are stuck in their use of rationalization for everything they do. This form of self confirming behavior will take them to a continued down slide until they have no more influence then any third Party operating within the US.
You can fool the American people some of the time; not all the time, and sooner or later, shit gets old. I know I am tired of seeing both Buchanans analyze "ass backwards" every issue facing this country. The media can do better in calling things what they truly are; our political system deserves better, and the American people will demand better.
