Barack Obama is a horrible president and it's all the fault of George W. Bush, according Donald Trump.

On Friday, the billionaire called what CNN described as a "hastily arranged news conference moments before a posh, poolside party... and hours before he was to speak at a Tea Party rally."

"George Bush gave us Barack Obama," he explained. "If it weren't for George Bush, we wouldn't have Barack Obama. So I'm not thrilled with George Bush."

"Because he [Bush] didn't have a great presidency, especially at the end. And because of his actions, and because of his aura, it was very tough for a Republican to win," Trump continued.

"And in all fairness to John McCain and to Sarah Palin, I think it would have been very, very tough for anybody – for Abraham Lincoln – to win after having followed George Bush."

"I think George Bush tried very hard, and I think for a period of time he was getting it right. But it didn't work out right and it would have been very hard for anybody to beat whoever the Democrat was," he said. "The fact is that Barack Obama has not done a good job to put it mildly and I think, personally, that it's going to be tougher to win the Republican primary than it is to beat Barack Obama."

"We have a disaster on our hands," the star of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice later said at the tea party event. "We have a man right now that almost certainly will go down as the worst president of the United States."

He went on to tell the crowd his thoughts on the disaster in Japan.

"For 30 years, they've been ripping us off and taking advantage of us. But I still think we should help. See, don't I have a great heart?"

Isn't it great living in a country where the dumbest, most uninformed evl morons and their mouth pieces (and hair pieces) get the most air time?

What a country.

If I were a psychopath, I would join the republican party, and get in on the gravy train taking the Teabircher morons to the cleaners.

If anyone needs evidence as to the toxic nature of American capitalism and our reactionary political system just look at the likes of Trump, the T-Baggers, and their corporate masters! Yeah, Obama is a failure but not for the reasons proffered by the ignorant, intolerant, and white-supremacists of the neo-fascist right. He has failed those who supported him because, to paraphrase the cracker rep. from SC, Joe Wilson, "(He) Lied"! To see an atrocity like Trump showing with positive approval of the reactionary party is extremely disturbing! However, when one looks at the slate of potential candidates emanating from that swamp, the portents for the future are particularly appalling when considering what constitutes the "lesser of the two evils" and how much it will cost to re-elect it! If that much money is available for this impending campaign shouldn't it be confiscted to pay off our obscene national debt?

We heard you Trump loud and clear, contradicting yourself!!! We all know Obama was chosen because Bush screwed up our country. Hillary wasn't voted in because she's female! We know every time a Republican is President, we have deficit problems! The Dems have to bail out our country every time!
Clinton got into office with a deficit from the first Bush. He left office with a great surplus that the 2nd
Bush eradicated in no time, leaving office with a devasting deficit that keeps growing because of how
he left our Country in a shamble!
Trump, you tell everyone how smart you are ... well, why was it that you could not answer the Times Magazine, when asked, How many in the House of Senators?
You would be another disaster for our Country. Running our Country is not like, running "Celebrity Apprentice!"
