Al Gore campaigned for Barack Obama in West Palm Beach, Florida. West Palm Beach was a focal point in controversy surrounding vote counting in the 2000 election so what better place to have Al Gore stump for Obama? And he does a great job as usual.

Or was Gore lackluster in this presentation? I'm asking because had he run and gotten the Democratic nomination, where would we stand today just days before the election? I admire Gore a lot, but he just doesn't inspire me like Obama does. On the other hand, I'm eager to see if he's up for Secretary of Energy. Now that would be awesome.
I thought this was a little weak as well. Certainly not one of Gore's better speeches.
He was quiet/monotone, even when trying to excite the crowd, and often was tripping over his own words. Compare this speech to the one he delivered at the DNC, for example.

But I agree with Raz. He sounds very lack luster.
Well, like I said, he's well-respected, so hopefully that makes up for his lack of enthusiasm at this stump speech.

I miss intelligence in government. When we have intelligence in the form of leadership we try harder. It is ok to think beyond what we think we are capable of. It doesn't matter what field we are in. We just give more and we try to give more.
If we vote for Obama we are voting for a new century. We are voting for a rebirth of a great nation. We are capable of so much more than what we have been.
However, for all you bloggers, you have been on the front line. You have helped save America because every time you emailed a senator, fox news, the fcc, public radio and TV....with your views, you reminded the leaders and the spokesmen and media that you know the truth. Every site like Crooks and Liars was a beacon of our liberty.

If Al had fought a little harder in 2000 maybe we would not be in the shape we are in now?
Think about it the trade towers would most likely be standing. Because we would have most likely foiled the plot.
We would not have gone into Afganistan and we sure would not be in Iraq. Think of the lives that have been wasted for the corporations, look at all the misery and pain that has been caused by the bush cabal.
We would not have wasted so much money trying to help out corporations such as exxon,mobile,halliburton,ect.
grover norquist said he wanted to make the American people so small he could drown them in a bathtub!
When ask about what would America do without roads, bridges,ect, he said it won't bother me I will just fly over it!
Don't you see these are unthinking people they spend all their time in the super greed mode and have no time for anything else.
