Seems to me, When Dennis says we have infinite $ for war and finite $ for health care ... he's just making and 'empirical' point!

Snerd

Why didn't liberals support this man instead of ONothing?

And one that bothers me more with each passing day of Obama's presidency. I never understood the excitement for him in the primaries beyond the historical achievement.

I guess it's the same mentality that could support Clinton while he continued Bush Sr's war in Iraq with constant bombing and draconian sanctions which killed hundreds of thousands, his enacting of NAFTA and his free-market love affair with Greenspan.

Some view being a liberals as view it as a set of principles, others see it as being on a team. "At least he's not McCain/Bush/Dole/etc..."

My favorite is when people say Kucinich is short and weird looking so he's unelectable. Yeah, that stopped McCain, Dukakis, Cheney, Lieberman, Perot, Ron Paul and so many other potential presidents/vice presidents from having a real shot at it. If websites like C&L, ThinkProgress, DalyKos and others were to actually back him then he'd have a shot. Obviously, voters will vote for whoever they're told offers hope and change. Why not back someone who actually does.

(That said, Kucinich would get the Lee Harvey Oswald treatment before getting a chance to even see the inside of the Oval Office).

Don't you know? We need to stay in Iraq and Afganastan until we kill all the terrorists- if we pull out, the terrorists will want to kill us!

(or such is the circular illogic of the chickenhawks who want unending war)

As for health care, Republicans worship 2 things- Jesus, and money.

If you're sick, they'll want you to hurry up and die, so you can be with Jesus-plus that would save money.

Dennis is what a President should be.
