I did a post earlier today that quoted data from Politifact which proves Donald Trump has been incredibly untruthful this campaign season.

It seems his level of dishonesty has spread into his most trusted advisors.

As Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of NYC, was warming up the crowd before Trump gave his anti-ISIS speech today, he said radical Islam never successfully perpetrated a terrorist attack on US soil until President Obama and Hillary Clinton took office.

Say, what?

Rudy said, "Under those eight years before Obama came along, we didn't have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States."

I'm almost speechless. What a despicable human being.

Here's a man who successfully used the 9/11 terrorist attacks to help himself and then based his own presidential campaign in 2008 on the 9/11 attacks.

Like Matt Yglesias, i wondered this too.

What Rudy just did was vomit on the memories of all those that had died in the Twin Towers and our first responders just to score baseless and disgusting political points.

Here's his full comments:

By the way, under those eight years before Obama came along, we didn't have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States. They all started when Clinton and Obama got into office.

[Disjointed statement follows] He's also been in business then, you know better than I do, what a great Governor he is of your state, what he has done for your state and how he's improved it and helped it and left it in tremendous condition. [Realizes his audience doesn't know who he's talking about] I am, when it gets to the state of Indiana, [laughter] We are going there next. We are going there next. ...

Rudy, like Trump made a transition in his speech and the audience didn't even know that he was talking about Gov. Mike Pence.
