The war-on-women is alive and well in the second Presidential Primary state, New Hampshire, thanks to Republicans, as usual. In the New Hampshire House, Democrats and Republicans are battling over some GOP opinions on the matter of indecent female exposure in public. A Republican proposal would make it a misdemeanor to expose a nipple in public Jesus Christ almighty! Let's all focus on what's important.

CNN reports:

State Rep. Amanda Bouldin, a Democrat, isn't happy about the idea and expressed her opposition on Facebook. Bouldin called for the bill's sponsor, State Rep. Josh Moore, to kill it or at least exempt new mothers who are breastfeeding.

"The very least you could do," Bouldin wrote, "is protect a mother's right to FEED her child."

However, Bouldin didn't realize the bill did exempt breastfeeding mothers, but when she posted her to her Facebook, she mistakenly thought it didn't. But the remark that it drew from Moore was obviously inflammatory, as he later deleted it:

The post prompted a comment from Rep. Moore -- later deleted -- in which he wrote, "If it's a woman's natural inclination to pull her nipple out in public and you support that, than you should have no problem with a mans inclantion [sic] to stare at it and grab it. After all... It's ALL relative and natural, right?"

Of course, there were others who exposed their creepiness as well.

GOP Rep: AL Baldasaro Amanada, (spelling?) No disrespect, but your nipple would be the last one I would want to see. You want to turn our family beach's into a pervert show. Liberterians (sp?) want a nude beach, put your money together and buy one, if you want to expose you kids to nudity, go for it. Some of us liberty minded Reps do beleive (sp?) in family values.

Apparently, Moore wasn't finished with his display of feminine respect.

He was far from done showing off his misogynist creds or his paternalistic condescension.

Like when, for instance, he schooled Bouldin in what real respect for women looks like. I’ll see you on the house floor. I have obviously have more respect for a women and her innocence and decency than than women who are support public nudity.

Really, this is an indirect assault on women who breastfeed in public, which has been under attack by the right wing for quite some time now.
