There are myriad groups who are dedicated to eliminating choice for women's healthcare who are deeply devoted to their extremist, misogynist causes. One of those groups is an organization known as The Heidi Group, which was founded by Carol Everett. Everett had an epiphany several years after working in an abortion clinic and is now vehemently against the idea of any sort of sex education, family planning and basic women's rights with regards to their reproductive choices. One of the 'accomplishments' of her group was listed as:

November 11, 2014 Press Release: - Hope Pregnancy Center Purchases Closed Planned Parenthood Abortion Facility

She's one of the soldiers of the insane anti-Planned Parenthood struggle that insists that the healthcare organization is really a deviant sexual anomaly that encourages practices that are demeaning to women. The problem with her reasoning, however, is her evidence is extremely outdated, and incredibly obscure and based in complete fantasy. These soldiers in the War on Women are not restricted to reality-based battle tactics. They will use any contrived notion that they can conjure.

It's interesting to note that responsible sexual behavior is only the responsibility of the female, as the male never seems to share the burden of consequences. Alan Colmes asked her if consensual sex between a woman and a man that she knows is not monogamous with her is the same thing as rape. Everett believes that for a woman, sex is the most intimate thing she can experience, and if she knows there's other women out there that he is having sex with, it is the same thing as the violation of rape. Several times she made this crazy assertion.

Keep in mind this Heidi Group is also active in politics and encourages votes, most notably on the issue of marriage equality. They are involved in Conservative wingnut politics, and are at the beck and call of zealot Governors like Texas' Greg Abbott. Texas politics is controlled by these nuts and they do one thing better than folks on the Left (aka side of reason): they get out the vote.

Everett insists that Planned Parenthood really encourages bestiality. She basis this claim on this fairly outdated and obscure source. This is from the American Life League's chapter on Planned Parenthood. It is really something!

(11) Planned Parenthood on Sex With Animals.

I have known cases of farm boys who have had a loving sexual relationship with an animal and who felt good about their behavior until they got to college, where they learned for the first time that what they had done was 'abnormal.' Then they were upset.

Wardell Pomeroy, Ph.D. Boys and Sex. Delacorte Press, New York, 1981. Pages 171 and 172. This book is used in numerous public school systems in the United States.

The Heidi Group also partners with abstinence-only organizations that are vehemently opposed to teaching children about sex in schools. For example, this group wants to use Biblical techniques (polygamy, slavery?) to teach kids about sex by teaching them nothing about sex.

She also cited a source from an organization known as Liveactionnews.com, which is obsessed with preventing abortion all over the globe, with no concern for the desires and rights of the women who have to carry that baby. The 'investigation' claimed that PP is encouraging deviant sexual behaviors, especially in teenagers. This is a claim based on hysteria, not reality. No wonder this Planned Parenthood fiction still roars on, these people are devoted in their crusade against women's rights!
