Tonight, we bring you a brand-new episode of Republican Ebola shaming and panic-stirring, courtesy of Goober Gohmert, Defender of Asparagus Everywhere.
“You know, it’s a shame that the CDC head, Frieden, is apparently the commander of the Democrats’ new war on women nurses,” Gohmert opined. “Because, goodnight, they set them up, and then they throw them under the bus.”
“The idiot comes out and says that clearly she had violated protocol,” the Texas congressman continued. “At least in football, they have to tell you what you violated.”
Errrrrr. She did violate protocol, and she likely did that because the hospital she worked for was lax about what that protocol was.
But that's a fact, and facts aren't Goober's thing. He just likes to make bizarro statements for the hell of it, so people can scratch their heads and wonder what human mutation he represents.
