Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya warned defendant Donald Trump against bribing or influencing or retaliating against witnesses. And some of the potential witnesses will be from the defendant's inner circle, like Mike Pence, for example. The defendant was explicitly told not to discuss the case with witnesses without lawyers present.

Prosecutors weren't pleased with a post from Trump on his Truth Social platform that read, in all capital letters, "If you go after me, I'm coming after you!"

And now he's doubling down. They're going to slap a gag order on him so fast.

On Tuesday, Trump held an ego rally in New Hampshire and defiantly said, "I WILL talk about it!"

"So this is all about election interference, but that isn't quite good enough," the defendant said. "Crooked Joe now wants the thug prosecutor, this deranged guy, to file a court order taking away my First Amendment rights so that I can't speak. The case is a ridiculous case. It's a First Amendment case. But we don't want Trump to speak. So they want me; they take away your rights on First Amendment."

"When we say I can't talk, I'd love to," he added. "I will talk about it. I will. They're not taking away my First Amendment."

This isn't about the First Amendment. You can't crime around openly for four years and not be held accountable. That's what Trump did; then, on his way out the door, he threw a massive pity party, inciting his supporters to storm the Capitol.
