On NBC's 'Meet the Press,' host Chuck Todd seemed to go full Hunter Biden truther on us. Todd, who has two children, can't seem to understand why President Biden has an unconditional love for his son. And Todd should remember that Hunter is now Biden's only son.

"And clearly, Hunter Biden is not a candidate for president," he said. "But President Biden's handling of the case has raised questions at a time when voters already have doubts about his age and political standing."

"Biden brought his son to a state dinner just two days after the plea deal that has since collapsed was announced," he continued as if having dinner with your son is unheard of. Or inviting one's children to a state dinner is unheard of. "And he has repeatedly defended him, denying wrongdoing altogether, even though Hunter Biden himself has pled guilty."

"I'm confident," he said of Biden regarding his son. "First of all, my son's done nothing wrong. I trust him. I have faith in him."

"In total, there are now three special counsels actively at work involved in this presidential campaign," he continued. "Jack Smith was named in November to oversee the ongoing criminal investigations into Trump's handling of classified documents and his attempts to overturn the 2020 election."

"Robert Herr, he was named in January to investigate the handling of classified documents found at President Biden's former office in his home," Todd said. "And now, of course, David Weiss."

"The decision to delay the appointment of Weiss as a special counsel is also a bit hard to understand," he continued. "Even the language Garland used announcing his appointment Friday, emphasizing independence and accountability in particularly sensitive matters, are almost the exact same phrases that he used when appointing Jack Smith nine months ago to oversee the Trump cases."

"The legal calendar will continue to overshadow this political calendar," Todd said while possibly picking off a butterfly's wings. "Trump's lawyers are actually in court on Friday hashing out the details of what he is allowed."

He should try to get a gig at Breitbart.
