The US Senate is looking into the proposed merger between the PGA and the Saudi-funded LIV. During the three hour hearing on Tuesday, one of the people speaking was Jimmy Dunne, an investment banker who is highly invested in the merger happening.

Dunne argued that he was concerned about all the Saudis who are under 32 years old and had nothing to do with 9/11 and might be confused why Americans might not like them. He also said that there was a lot of money at risk because the sponsors might not be happy if they couldn't get the best players in the world.

Senator Ron Johnson (Q - Riyadh) went on the dying bird app to give his full-throated support, adding that golf would help make things all better and heal old wounds.

Just a couple of things are nagging me. Why are they talking about people under 32? 9/11 happened in 2001, which was 22 years ago. And does that mean we no longer hold remembrances of the nearly 3,000 people killed that day?

Also, what about Jamal Khashoggi, the Washington Post writer who was murdered and mutilated by the Saudi Arabian crown prince because Khashoggi was critical of the Saudi royal family? What about him and his family and friends? Is RoJo really OK with murderers just because they are also filthy rich? Oops, I guess I just answered my own question there.
