Senator Ron Johnson (Q-Moscow) flew up from his "vacation home" in Florida to speak at the Wisconsin Republican state convention, which was held this past weekend. Sadly, not only does RoJo's memory loss continue, but appears to have gotten much worse. For example, he somehow believes that the media and the far left that are to blame for the divisiveness in the country:
He also said he feels most Dems and independents agree with Republicans on wanting a prosperous and secure nation.
Real solutions to major American problems are going to require bipartisan solutions, and it’s time people realize that, noting Biden in past speeches has called for unity too.
“Of course, he’s done the exact opposite in trying to unify this nation,” he said. “Somebody’s got to be the adult. We can’t continue to be a nation of middle-schoolers. We have to be a nation of adults.”
That starts with listening to others, which means hearing out the other side of the aisle, he added.
I wonder if RoJo was listening across the aisle when he was busy inciting the January 6th riot and pushing the Big Lie that somehow the 2020 election was stolen. Or perhaps he considered it bipartisan when he was calling the rioters and insurrectionists "peaceful tourists."
Maybe RoJo saw himself as the Great Unifier when he played his role in trying to turn over the election by foisting slates of fake electors on then Vice-President Mike Pence, as he was trying to certify the actual election results.
Don't ask me, I don't know what he's thinking. I can't see how he is rationalizing that the party of insurrection, of election tampering and of treason are the party to unify us.
And I doubt that the addle-brained RoJo knows either.
