Gov. Ron DeSantis appears to be pulling a Ted Cruz as a rain of "biblical proportions" slammed Fort Lauderdale to a standstill, shutting down the city's airport, stranding drivers on flooded streets, suspending rail services, and inundating emergency responders. Meanwhile, the Governor is in Ohio, probably railing against woke policies because that's super important.

During a press conference, a reporter asked Fort Lauderdale mayor Dean Trantalis, "Have you spoken with Governor DeSantis?"

"Governor DeSantis has not yet called," he said, "I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm sure he's very interested in what's going on here, and we're happy to work with his office."

"In the meantime, the state agencies have, we've been working with them," he continued. "The Fish and Wildlife Office has been working with us, so we appreciate that."

It looks pretty bad there, but at least they aren't woke.

Do your job, Ronald.
