Mike Pence finally said something about Trump endangering his family on January 6th.

Trump responded by blaming his former vice-president for creating the insurrection in the first place.

Speaking to the Gridiron Club (No video available, I wonder why?) Pence made these comments.

"Tourists don't injure 140 police officers by sightseeing," Pence said. "Tourists don't break down doors to get to the Speaker of the House or voice threats against public officials."

"Make no mistake about it, what happened that day was a disgrace, and it mocks decency to portray it in any other way," he said.

On his way to a speech in Iowa on his private plane, the cockwobbler responded to questions from the press by claiming if Pence had done what he asked, there would never have been a "problem with January 6."

“Had he sent the votes back to the legislatures, they wouldn’t have had a problem with Jan. 6, so in many ways, you can blame him for Jan. 6,” the former president said, referring to Pence’s refusal to reject the electoral college votes in Congress as Trump wanted him to do that day. “Had he sent them back to Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, the states, I believe, number one, you would have had a different outcome. But I also believe you wouldn’t have had ‘Jan. 6’ as we call it.”

This may be the first time Trump recognized that what he incited on January 6 was an actual insurrection at the US Capitol.

Trump also claimed Pence was speaking out because of his low poll numbers. I thought all polls were rigged against him.

What Trump demanded from Pence was illegal and immoral as well as not actually something a vice president had the power to do.

It took Pence two years to say anything against his former boss. It's time he gets honest with the public, stops fighting any subpoena that comes his way, and testifies under oath against Trump.

PS Even Fox and Friends isn't buying.
