Rep. Mark Good from Virginia (guess which party) claimed marriage equality 'disrespects God's definition of marriage' and equated gay marriage to 'polygamy, bestiality, and child marriage."

The House will vote on the final version of the marriage equality legislation today, so the Christian Nationalist theocrats ranted in their usual despicable fashion.

"I rise today in strong opposition to the so-called respect for marriage act. Honestly, the bill should be called the disrespect for marriage act," he said. "This bill certainly disrespect's God definition of marriage, a definition that has served his creation well for more than 5,000 years of recorded history. and his definition is the only one that really matters."

Here's another example of a Republican lawmaker telling the US Constitution to go to hell.

"This bill would codify into federal law the Supreme Court's wrongly decided Obergefell decision and ensure the marriage laws in the most liberal states, irrespective how radical they might become in the future, think polygamy, bestiality, child marriage or whatever, must be legally recognized in all states," he yelled.

These are the same tired and disgusting words used by the Rick Santorum's of the GOP for two decades now.

Rep. Good and many other Republicans are promoting their personal religious views and tired rhetoric over the Constitution.

The Virginia lawmaker, like many others in the GOP, speaks in tongues about a "perfect immutable God," but they only care about power, greed, and sowing hate.

The US of A can't have each state dictate what religion they believe countermands the civil rights of all Americans.

Good, take your tired act to Herschel Walker's house, wherever that may be, and preach to him.
