Wisconsin State Representative Janel Brandtjen is a MAGAt, election denying zealot. She took a trip to Arizona to see them look for bamboo shoots on ballots, she studied under the election mastermind Mike Lindell, and she became BFF with fellow Big Lie believer and former Wisconsin election frauditor Mike Gableman. So yeah, you could say she's not all that stable or a genius. Unbelievably, she is the chair of the state assembly's election committee.

So naturally, Brandtjen went nuts when she was sent some fraudulently obtained absentee ballots.

Late on Friday, she filed a lawsuit asking the Court to sequester all absentee ballots sent in by military voters, you know, the people stationed around the world to fight for our democracy:

According to a report from the Washington Post, a senior Republican lawmaker is suing to block her home state of Wisconsin from counting military ballots because she fears fraud is involved.

The report notes that Rep. Janel Brandtjen, the chairwoman of the State Assembly’s elections committee, filed the lawsuit late Friday.

Also joining Brandtjen was the Thomas More Society, a long time conspiracy theorist group. Their request is for the judge to disenfranchise not only all military voters but all voters who use mail in ballots:

The Thomas More Society, in a press release, said its attorneys filed the lawsuit Friday in Waukesha County Circuit Court. They say they want the court to issue a temporary restraining order and temporary injunction, ordering election officials to sequester all military absentee or mail-in ballots prior to the election.

They say the purpose of the injunction would be to verify the military ballots are "authentic and not fraudulent."

Now, here is a very interesting "coincidence." The Thomas More Society and Mike Gableman shared office space during the time that Gableman was supposed to be doing a fraudit of the 2020 elections. In fact, some of the money that Gableman spent in his fraudit went to the Thomas More Society and its special counselor, Erick Kaardal, for unspecified services. After Gableman was unceremoniously axed by Robin Vos, he was hired by the society. And the first person that Brandtjen called, even before the police or the election commission was, you guessed it, Gableman.

You know, all these events seem to be a bit too convenient to be just coincidence.

Lastly, you have to wonder about the GQP's election strategy. It's as if they haven't alienated enough people already, they decided to disenfranchise the brave men and women serving their country for good measure.
