During an interview with ABC's David Muir, former Vice President Mike Pence finally, after two years, called out Donald Trump. He said that Trump "endangered me and my family and everyone at the Capitol building" with his words and actions during the Jan. 6 insurrection. Two years. It took him two years. At times, I thought Pence might volunteer to hang himself for his former boss.

While the shit was hitting the fan on Jan. 6 as a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, Trump tweeted: "Mike Pence didn't have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution."

Oh, that was helpful.

Pence told Muir: "It angered me, but I turned to my daughter, who was standing nearby, and I said, 'It doesn't take courage to break the law. It takes courage to uphold the law.'"

"The president's words were reckless," he added. "It was clear he decided to be part of the problem."

I wonder what finally gave Pence the courage to call out Lumpy.

According to Politico, Pence's memoir "So Help Me God" is being released this week.

Ohhhhhh. And that was a very meek way to call someone out after they put your family in danger.
