Ohio police are in pursuit of an armed man who made a threat involving an FBI building in Cincinnati. According to WLWT5, the armed man showed up at the office and appeared to be armed while making potential threats. He then drove off, leading Ohio State Patrol on a chase into Clinton County, where there's still an ongoing police situation.

A standoff in a cornfield with an armed man who tried to break into the FBI’s Cincinnati office earlier Thursday came to an end around 4:30 p.m. local time, a local emergency management office said.

The gunman, who has not been identified, fled over 40 miles northeast with the Ohio State Patrol giving chase after he failed to breach the federal building around 9 a.m. As he fled, authorities say gunfire was exchanged between officers and the suspect, who took cover in a cornfield for more than five hours.

While the motive hasn't been revealed yet, he was at the Capitol on Jan. 6. And he's dead.
