After another bizarre round of North Korea tweets which undermined his own Secretary of State's diplomatic efforts, saying he's wasting his time negotiating with the "little rocket man," CNN's Brian Stelter asks if we "are we at the point where folks on TV should be questioning the president's stability?"

Stelter was joined by Stan and Bethany Mandel, a husband and wife conservative team working for different conservative outlets to discuss Trump's truly awful, very bad week.

After Stelter introduced them, Stelter posted Trump's newest tweets that undermined Tillerson on North Korea.

When Rex Tillerson said he has a direct line with Pyongyang, Stelter said that was a big deal until Trump dismissed it.

Bethany said, "I don't believe a lot that comes out of the White House and about the White House, so -- "

Stelter replied, "Wait, you're a conservative writer. You don't believe most of what you hear from the White House?"

She said she didn't think we actually had a direct line to Pyongyang and when Stelter responded, "But the State Department says we do have it so, maybe that's dysfunction in the government?"

Bethany said, "Or they're lying."

Well, we know the Trump administration are major league liars, but it's good to see conservatives come out and say it.

Stelter put Trump's NOKO tweets back on the screen. "I want to underscore how extraordinary this is to see the president calling out of his secretary of State. He's saying here that Rex is 'wasting his time trying to negotiate with little rocket man."

Stelter continued, "When I look at this, Seth, I wonder, are we at the point where folks on TV should be questioning the president's stability?"

That's a good question. It makes no sense for Trump to throw Tillerson's work into the gutter so quickly.

Stan described Trump's fascination with the Nixon's "mad man theory" on foreign policy and said he was playing it wrong, but Trump's crazy routine has only inflamed the situation.

And let's be honest,Trump acts like a mad man most days so his shtick is getting older and staler by the second.

But why put Tillerson in that position?

I forgot. Trump keeps Trump in the spotlight at all times. My bad.
