Fox News' George Will backed up Donald Trump's ridiculous claims of a rigged election and said, "It's hard to think of an innocent reason why they fight so tremendously against voter I.D. laws."

Will joined Fox News' Special Report Monday afternoon and made as many wacky claims about voter fraud as Donald Trump has so far.

Voter ID laws came into fashion because Republicans understand that the fewer amount of eligible voters there are help Republicans in elections, period. There is no other reason for this obsession since election fraud happens so rarely.

In our judicial system, you don't pass fictitious laws based on no evidence of wrong doings.

Next Will broached the "dead people" theory of voter fraud and said, "It is hard to think of an innocent reason why Democrats spend so much time, energy and money, scarce resources all, resisting attempts to purge the voter rolls, that is to remove people dead or otherwise have left the jurisdiction."

Purging the voter rolls is also a tried and true Republican dirty trick because many citizens get swept off the rolls when this happens.

Then George used the "airport" theory and said, "The Supreme Court has said that travel is a fundamental right. No one thinks showing an I.D. at the airport burdens that fundamental right."

Getting on an airplane is a choice an American makes, voting is a right, moron.

But he saved his craziest for last and said, "We know that the 2010, '12 and '14 elections were rigged by the most intrusive and potentially punitive institution of the the federal government, the IRS."

He continued, "That the the IRS is still intolerably delaying the granting of tax exempt status to conservative advocacy groups to skew the persuasion of this campaign."

Approving or denying an advocacy groups' tax exempt status has no bearing on voting in America. It does have a bearing on whether phony advocacy groups can take advantage of paying no taxes, whatsoever. Just like Trump.

VOTER ID LAWS ARE DISCRIMINATORY

• Voter ID laws have a disproportionate and unfair impact on low-income individuals, racial and ethnic minority voters, students, senior citizens, voters with disabilities and others who do not have a government-issued ID or the money to acquire one.
• The Supreme Court has held that a state cannot value one person’s vote over another and that is exactly what these laws do.
• Research shows that 11% of US citizens – or more than 21 million Americans -- do not have government-issued photo identification.
• As many as 25% of African American citizens of voting age do not have a government-issued photo ID, compared to only 8% of their white counterparts.
• 18% of Americans over the age of 65 (or 6 million senior citizens) do not have a government-issued photo ID.
• In 2008, it was widely reported that Indiana’s voter ID law disfranchised 12 nuns who were trying to vote in the primary election. The nuns were all over 80 years old, all had a history of voting in past elections, and none of them drove. Their limited mobility made it difficult for them to get an ID.
