Once again, I must give a round of applause to Brianna Keilar, who is so much better than Wolf Blitzer when it comes to holding her guests' feet to the fire, rather than letting them prattle on.

Former Rep. Jack Kingston, who is now a top Trump surrogate, made an appearance on The Situation Room to discuss Donald Trump's outrageous claims about "inner cities," and how he would "get 95 percent of the Black vote after his first four years."

Kingston tried to claim that Trump was going out to their communities to talk to them directly, but Keilar was having no part of that. She stopped him short, saying, "I have to stop you because you said he's going there. He's not, he's in Diamondale, which is 93 percent white. When he was in Milwaukee the other day, it was part of Milwaukee that wasn't dealing -- I mean, it's almost completely white."

Kingston retorted, "Maybe it would have been nice if he went and had a backdrop with a burning car."

Keilar did not let him get away with that, as you can see in the clip above.

We all know Trump is a racist, his surrogates are racist, and his entire campaign is centered on white supremacy. But if you're trying to woo black voters, maybe it's a good idea not to snidely suggest the way to do that is with a backdrop of a burning car?
