The Young Turks' Cenk Uygur Booted From American Airlines Flight

The Young Turk's Cenk Uygur was booted from American Airlines flight because pilot wasn’t "comfortable."

Wow, talk about a huge mistake by a corporate airline. American Airlines made its passengers wait in LAX for over four hours to board a flight to Miami.

After hours and hours of sitting in an airport, supervisors decided to boot Cenk Uygur because they claim the pilot was not "comfortable." Oh, and worst of all, no refunds. No justification. Just "sorry, get off the plane, we don't like you."

But what exactly made the pilot uncomfortable? That Cenk was justifiably frustrated about a four hour unexplained delay? The fact that he was videotaping and tweeting about his experience? Or was it something more sinister and related to the color of his skin? We may never know the answer to that question, but it seems relevant.

Cenk live-tweeted and livestreamed it. It was close to 2:10 AM when he had to go home and rebook a new flight for later in the day for a last minute flight. WOW.

In the video, you can hear other passengers in the background arguing with boarding agents as well. Here is the thing - there is clearly NO plane coming and there are lots of angry passengers.

American Airlines better be working on a nice apology, and fast.
