Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson says Trump referring to 9/11 as "7-Eleven" was just a slip of the tongue.

What would Rudy Guiliani say? Noun! Verb! Nine Eleven!

It's not like even Republicans are likely to confuse the worst terrorist attack on American soil with a 24 hour convenience store. (h/t Jamie)
