NOTE: This post embeds tweets from conservatives on Twitter. They were on the ground reporting and documenting the chaos in Nevada. No endorsement of anyone's Twitter stream is implied here. -eds.

It's true, casinos have rules that favor the house. From an outsider's perspective, it's cheating.

We usually don't feature bloggers from the conservative National Review Online here at Crooks and Liars, but @ElainaPlott's Twitter stream is worth perusing, just to see from the ground what was going on in Nevada.

Last night's Nevada GOP Caucuses were chaotic, to say the least. But what is more important, the rules that the Nevada GOP claims were in place and being obeyed seem to favor that chaos in a way that denies valid voter participation as well as accurate vote counting.

What is the end game for an election process if not to get voters to vote, and then count the votes accurately? Apparently, the Nevada GOP had something else in mind. Three examples.

1. The rules apparently allow for people to wear Trump shirts and hats while counting votes and otherwise supervising the caucus process. I could say this was a general rule but every example I saw on Twitter last night was a Trumpeter.

2. While anyone can be forgiven for needing to compensate for unexpected turnout, the Nevada GOP was particularly unprepared. One polling place was not set up at all, and voters who showed up there went home rather than be re-routed.

3. There were widespread reports of a lack of ballots. What I want to know is, why during a CAUCUS are you using ballots at all? The Democrats had specific instructions that they would be getting into groups to determine delegate outcomes, you know, like in a caucus.

A Congressional candidate (okay, Michelle Fiore, The Armed Angel of Verdun/Malheur) paid for the printing of the ballots and advertised such ON THE BALLOTS?!?

Of course, the Nevada GOP says all is well.
