Other than her own music, Tanega is known for having written lyrics to some of Dusty Springfield's work in the late '60s. In addition to her folk and pop endeavors, she's also explored world music genres and worked with a lot of exotic instruments. Definitely a talented musician and songwriter, that's for sure.
