Legend has it that Kurt Cobain referred to Teenage Fanclub as "the best band in the world" on a regular basis. While that's a bit extreme and may not have even been said, it did get me interested enough to listen to them. Turns out they're talented songwriters and they do a pretty good job of putting a song together. I don't think I'll start seconding Cobain's alleged statements just yet, but I will give this great band credit where credit is due.
