"The question shouldn't really be 'How much debt are we taking on?' as much as: What is the value of what we are getting for it in return?" the comedian said.
Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday pressed a top Republican, Sen. Roy Blunt (MO), over Republican opposition to President Joe Biden's infrastructure plan.
“Isn’t that the most cynical, phony thing?" Jonathan Swan asked.
