It's virtually impossible for a narcissist like Donald Trump to truly love someone or something unconditionally, and it seems that this is likely the reason why we have never associated him with being an animal lover. Trump has provided Tweets with loads of insults that are derogatory to dogs, in all sorts of strange ways.

That's the premise for this edition of the GQ video series, "The Closer" Episode 13: Why the Hell Is Trump Such a Weirdo About Dogs?"

"Like a dog" is used extremely often by the man who has the best temperament and words, and Keith Olbermann is not the first to notice. Trump has stated that people like Erick Erickson, Bill Maher, Ted Cruz, David Gregory and Glenn Beck have all been fired like 'dogs,' who apparently are subject to firing? Does he even get how dogs work?

Olbermann says,

There is no evidence Donald Trump has ever loved an animal. If Trump has ever in his life had a pet, wrote Gail Collins oft The New York Times, his campaign doesn't know about it.

Boy howdy does he enjoy using dogs in a derogatory manner, which isn't exactly a winning strategy to so many of us dog-lovers. Here's a little more from the always entertaining K.O.

Mitt Romney had his chance to be a failed president, but he choked like a dog. Egyptian President Mubarak dropped like a dog. Reverend Wright was dumped like a dog...Mark Cuban was thrown off television like a dog, and Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson like a dog. Worst of all, he said, during a Republican debate, he saw Senator Marco Rubio sweating like a dog. Dogs don't sweat!

Donald Trump has no understanding of this. No evidence (that he) has ever had a dog, no evidence he understands even the kinds of basics that people who don't have dogs still know about dogs.

Trump's handlers must have noticed that they're not going to gain any votes by hinting at the abuse or neglect of canines. But still, this hasn't curtailed his unfavorable comparison to dogs.

The Trump campaign put out, and almost as quickly, pulled back a proposal to eliminate what it called the FDA Food police, sighting as one of its supposed government / reaches that "even dictates the nutritional content of dog food." Well it does dictate the nutritional content of dog food. It dictates the nutritional content of dog food so the dog food does not kill the dog!"

The beauty of this series is that we see Olbermann unbound by the usual F.C.C.prohibitions on profanity. He concludes his canine-inspired tirade with an effective message that would incense any animal-lover.

Donald Trump has given a hint that if elected, he would protect a businessman's right to poison dogs! Maybe your dogs, maybe mine, maybe any of the other 78 million because, you know, profits! Hey Don: F*ck you!
