In an interview with Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC, Gary Johnson offered an amazing reason for why knowledge of world conflicts just doesn't matter.

Governor Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate for President, has finally explained why he didn't know about Aleppo. For Johnson, ignorance is bliss.

Andrea Mitchell reminded Johnson that as a candidate for Commander-in-Chief, he needs to understand foreign policy, and also basic geography. Johnson respectfully disagreed.

"The fact that somebody can dot the Is and cross the Ts then allows them to put our military in harm's way," Johnson said.

He continued, "We elect people who can dot the Is and cross the Ts on names in geographic locations as opposed to the underlying philosophy which is let's stop getting involved in these regime changes."

Johnson, translated: If we don't know what's happening or where the conflict is, we won't get involved in their business, apparently.

Twitter erupted:

Seriously, Gary Johnson may not be as malevolent as Trump, but he's just as unqualified. How is he getting any percentage of the vote, again?
