Bernie Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver dropped in on CNN's New Day and explained to Chris Cuomo that Bernie will win the nomination in an open convention.

Host Chris Cuomo said that Sanders faces a tough task of winning every three out of four delegates that remain and he asked if Weaver accepted the math.

Weaver said he "accepts math, but not that funny math."

TPM has more:

"I think what this campaign is looking for and what the senator is looking for is going into the convention and coming out with the nomination," Jeff Weaver told host Chris Cuomo.

“When we arrive at the convention, it will be an open convention, likely with neither candidate having a majority of pledged delegates," Weaver added.

Weaver believes neither Hillary or Bernie will have enough pledged delegates before the convention. Chris followed with " you know the superdelegates count" and Weaver replied "but they don't count until they vote and they don't vote until we get to the convention."

Jeff Weaver's strategy seems to be that he's betting on most of the superdelegates will change their minds at the convention.
